dc.description.abstractConsidered the resistance and predominance of the verminose in the sheep 24 and goats species of the area of Cariri in Ceará and, trying to contribute for the agricultural products produced in this area, exams were accomplished in 1.193 sheeps and 557 goats. Was looked for to quantify the need to find better resources to the small cattle farmer can his guarantee subsistence in the field. Took this work that aimed at to know the infestation levels to contribute with the control of the problem of the sheep and goat verminose. High loads were verified would sponge of the family Strongyloidae, and for the goat species the average was of 2.041,13, that it differed significantly of the sheep species with average of 1.252,36 eggs for gram of feces.pt_BR

dc.description.abstract-ptbrConsiderando-se a resistência e predominância de verminose nas espécies ovinas e caprinas da região do Cariri Cearense e, tentando contribuir para os produtos agropecuários produzidos na região, foram realizados exames em 1.193 ovinos e 557 caprinos. Buscou-se quantificar a necessidade de se oportunizar melhores recursos para que o pequeno pecuarista possa garantir sua subsistência no campo. Realizou-se este trabalho que objetivou conhecer os níveis de infestação para contribuir com o controle do problema da verminose ovina e caprina. Constatou-se alta carga parasitaria da família Strongyloidae, sendo que para a espécie caprina a média foi de 2.041,13, que diferiu significativamente da espécie ovina com média de 1.252,36 ovos por grama de fezes.pt_BR
