A Metodologia da Aprendizagem Cooperativa no ensino de Engenharia Elétrica: a visão dos alunos e professores

Abstract

The cooperative learning method is an alternative to a paradigm shift in teaching. Knowledge is built by the teacher and the students in a dynamic and interactive process, where the active and cooperative participation of the student body and the teacher is fundamental in the development of the learning process. Unlike the classical process, where the teacher is the active and the student is the passive part, the cooperation between these two poles, in this new methodology, transforms a previously unidirectional system into one that then becomes more reciprocal, where knowledge flows in both channels of information exchange, making not only the teacher teach the student, but also the student brings the knowledge to other students and even to the teacher. Thus, this article seeks to ascertain, from questionnaires, the opinion of students and teachers of the electrical engineering course of the Federal University of Ceará Sobral campus on the dynamics of teaching and learning when using the methodology of cooperative learning.
