Canudenses na cidade de São Paulo: trajetórias

Abstract

The study it is part of the thesis of doutoramento in the carried through area of Social History in the PUC/SP. It understands an inquiry on experiences of canudenses migrantes in the city of São Paulo, the period of 1950 the 2000, not as a homogeneous unit, but as citizens of the proper action, valuing the cultural aspects, its marks, memories, desires, as well as the constitution in the social city, work, relations and ways of life. It presents reflection on daily of the these migrantes workers front to the challenges of the gift: the fight for the survival in the metropolis, solidarity between the countrymen. The methodology procedure if gave with Verbal History: interviews with canudenses that inhabit in the south zone of the city of São Paulo and keep alive the bridge that binds to São Paulo /SP the Canudos/BA.
