<description>Título: Cuidados com o bem-estar animal e saúde única na universidade
Abstract: Animals, humans, and the environment are connected. Your health doesn't depend solely on you; it also depends on the animals and the environment around you. This is the principle of One Health. When something is out of balance, such as abandonment, mistreatment, or environmental manipulation, the whole world is impacted. Some diseases can circulate between animals and people (zoonoses), especially in contexts of inadequate management. According to the World Health Organization (WHO): 60% of known human infectious diseases are zoonoses, 75% of emerging infectious diseases (new diseases that arise in the population) have an animal origin, and 3 out of every 5 new human diseases that appear each year are zoonotic. Thus, responsible animal care strengthens animal welfare, human health, and environmental balance. The campus is an ecosystem. What happens here directly affects collective health
