When I started writing about these self-knowledge and self-help contents, some people, in fact, many people, doubted my ability, because I did not have an academic background. Since my adolescence, I have been interested in spirituality, philosophy and psychology. I have always sought to join religious groups and movements, because, in this way, I believed that I would learn more about these three pillars of the human mentality. I respect, defend and seek to learn from all religions and philosophies of balanced and fair thought, even without physically attending them, because today we have this possibility of knowing and understanding about a religion and a philosophy of life without being physically present. My spiritualist base is the four gospels. I consider Jesus to be the greatest teacher on this planet, but understanding in depth the teachings and examples He presented is not an easy task, because to do so, we need to develop our thoughts and feelings. Therefore, I decided to invest deeply in this quest for happiness, that is, in the development of our thoughts and feelings. To achieve the development I experience today, within this spiritualist proposal, I needed a lot of help from knowledge of philosophy and psychology, but since I am talking about many men and women who contributed to the development of these two sciences over many centuries, I can say that it is very difficult to find only coherent, balanced and fair thinkers and thoughts, because, many times, we also find childish and immature thoughts, ideas and feelings. When I say “fair,” I am referring to Creation, because many ideas and theories about life presented by renowned thinkers and embraced by a large number of people are childish when compared to the “evidence of a Greater Power present and active in all Creation.” That is why it is necessary for us to know how to distinguish not one person from another, not one thinker from another, but one idea from another. This is more important. Since no one is perfect or completely wise, we must, for our moral benefit, learn to select carefully the ideas that come to us, because, as a professor of Good said, sometimes among the many “good ideas” presented by a person on a pulpit, on a stage, or in a place of power and visibility, “bad ideas” are also expressed, which resemble the seeds of evil. And in this incessant search, I obtained a lot of information, but I lacked other information to form the puzzle I wanted; That was when I decided to reinterpret what I already had in terms of information about self-knowledge in the four gospels, and during that time I was able to interpret what emotions and feelings were, in a beginner's way, of course, but it was a good start. This helped me a lot to visualize the meaning of many studies on spirituality, philosophy and psychology. This is the second book I have written about self-knowledge and, once again, some people have disbelieved in my ability to write about this subject, simply because I do not have an academic background in psychology and because I had not finished my degree in philosophy, which I had started. To these people, I say that I am not the one who is presumptuous, because I speak about myself, I write about what I understand and feel; if philosophy and psychology study and speak about the human mind, then they are the ones who are speaking about me. I write about the contents that live within me, like someone who introduces family members who live in the same house. Who wake up at the same time, drink coffee, work and sing together. For this reason, when I write or speak about some psychic content that lives in my mental home, it is because I am from here. If I see a Desire jumping out of a window, it is because I am from here; If Emotional Neediness drags me from the inside out, it is because I am from here; If Anxiety pressures me to achieve something, it's because I'm from here. And if Will calls me to restructure my entire mental house, it's because I'm from here.
