Autor(es): Santos, Francisco Edvander Pires; Soares, Magda Lúcia Almada; Cardoso, Cyntia Chaves de Carvalho Gomes
Abstract: This article introduces the Podcast Ethnography as a research method under the following question: How to define a scientific methodology based on the theoretical and practical approaches on the podosphere? The main objective is discussing Podcast Ethnography as a research method and as a methodological basis to purpose techniques and instruments for collecting and analyzing data from podcast aggregators, by resulting in a research script to carry podcast studies out in Librarianship and Information Science. In this respect, Podcast Ethnography allows the development of research tools, strategies and techniques for collecting and analyzing data available on podcast aggregators. As a purpose, metadata, fields and open questions are presented aiming to develop research forms. In addition, there are suggestions to collect data by using an electronic research diary and by organizing a research schedule. In order to analyze the content of podcast episodes, the audio transcription, the definition of timestamps, and the categorization by subject are presented as strategies for discussing the results obtained through Podcast Ethnography. It is concluded that podcasts have contributed to scientific communication as a growing media which has become an object of study to researches and librarians.

<description>Título: Aspectos epistemológicos da sociocognição no discurso reflexivo de Clarice Lispector sobre o dizer: o malogro da voz e o esplendor de ter uma linguagem
Autor(es): Demétrio, Alana Kercia Barros
Abstract: This work discusses the manifestation of theoretical assumptions that underlie the sociocognitivist approach to language in Clarice Lispector’s novels. In order to investigate this question, we attempt to verify whether the discourse in these novels shows features that indicate the recognition of the indicial character language presents, the suggested idea that with language we shape the world and aspects we could associate with a conception that takes meaning construction as a collaborative activity. To carry out the study, we conceptually delimit sociocognition, since it is a still diffuse epistemological perspective, and debate the deconstruction of the notion of accurate reality representation, which we consider a starting point to understand the concept of recursion in language and the coherence it holds with the sociocognitive hypothesis about communication. Turning to different fields of knowledge due to the object’s complexity and conducting our methodological course along the lines of the spiral movement that characterizes abductive reasoning, we examine 40 passages we deem strongly emblematic of Clarice’s writing, which is simultaneously problematizing and problematized. The passages were selected from her nine novels. The results of our analysis demonstrate that the self- reflexive discourse in these novels suggests indeed assumptions of sociocognition, not with self- validated arguments one could articulate towards the defense of this epistemological perspective as a language approach, but with explanations on world semiotization in a recursive operation that, in addition to insinuating, enacts itself the continuity between the process of being with others, our experience of being and doing in language and our knowledge of the common reality we produce.
