      <description>Título: Profissional de educação física x recursos midiáticos: a busca da prática de exercício físico durante a pandemia do covid-19
Autor(es): Souza, Roberta Andrade de
Abstract: COVID-19 was a disease discovered in China, characterized by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a pandemic in March 2020. Many countries in the world have implemented social isolation as a strategy to contain the transmission of the virus. Isolation that has led society to reorganize its routine seeking new strategies to perform routine activities, one of which is the practice of physical activities. This study aims to investigate the use of social media as the main tool for the practice of physical exercise to the detriment of the performance of the physical education professional by people in social isolation during the Covid-19 pandemic. Data were collected through an online questionnaire, with 592 participants, with a mean age of 32.3 years (SD = 10.5), who were in social isolation for an average of 14.4 days (SD = 3.3 ), from March to April 2020. The instruments used were created to carry out this study with the objective of evaluating the exercise routine of the participants, as was the routine of physical activity before confinement, if there was monitoring of a physical education professional and how was the routine during isolation. It was found that the use of media resources for the practice of physical exercise grew significantly during isolation when compared to its use before the pandemic. And that exercises considered low cost and mild to moderate difficulty were the most practiced in this period. It is concluded that the majority of the practitioners sought to remain active through easy access and low cost exercises, in addition to the majority not choosing to have a professional accompaniment during the period in which they remained in social isolation, giving priority to training available in the media social.

      <title>Efeitos do exercício sobre o bem-estar no contexto da pandemia do covid-19</title>

Abstract: A disease discovered in China, COVID-19, was characterized by the World Health&#xD;
Organization (WHO) as a pandemic in March 2020. Many countries in the world&#xD;
implemented social isolation as a strategy to contain the virus transmission. The samephysical distancing which protects society from COVID-19 from spreading may have an&#xD;
impact on the mental health and well-being of the population This study aims to shed some&#xD;
light on this phenomenon by assessing the relationship between physical activity and SWB&#xD;
among individuals in the social isolation period of COVID-19.&#xD;
Data were collected in Brazil between March 31st and April 2nd, 2020. All volunteers agreed&#xD;
to participate by digitally checking the option of agreement right after reading the Consent&#xD;
Terms. The inclusion criteria were participants over 18 years old who had been in social&#xD;
isolation for at least one week and agreed to the Consent Terms. Three instruments were&#xD;
used: a questionnaire was built for this study which aimed to assess the participants’&#xD;
exercise routine. The second instrument called Psychosocial Aspects, Wellbeing and&#xD;
Exercise in Confinement (PAWEC) was also created by these researchers and aimed to&#xD;
assess the relationship between well-being and physical activity during the social isolation&#xD;
period. And the third measure was the Brazilian Portuguese-adapted version of the Positive&#xD;
and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS).&#xD;
A total of 592 participants reported being in social isolation for an average of 14.4 (SD=3.3)&#xD;
days. The amount of participants who reported strength training as exercise increased from&#xD;
31 (5.2%) before isolation to 82 (13.9%) during quarantine. The study shows that well-being&#xD;
related to the practice of physical activity during quarantine is linked to an established&#xD;
routine of physical activity prior to the social isolation period. Interpretation: People who&#xD;
already practiced physical activity feel more motivated to continue practicing during thisperiod and this causes the appearance of positive affects, unlike people who are only now&#xD;
starting to exercise; according to the study, negative aspects can occur for those who are&#xD;
only just starting. In a period of social isolation, it is important that the practice of physical&#xD;
activity is closer to previous habits, also finding that an obligation to exercise during this&#xD;
period when this was not a reality for the person can contribute to an increase in malaise.

      <title>Prevalência de crianças com dificuldades motoras em Fortaleza/CE</title>
      <link>http://repositorio.ufc.br/handle/riufc/47121</link>
      <description>Título: Prevalência de crianças com dificuldades motoras em Fortaleza/CE
Autor(es): Santos, Letícia Rodrigues Vieira
Abstract: The objective of the present study was to identify the prevalence of motor difficulties in a sample of children from Fortaleza/CE and to identify in which motor components&#xD;
these difficulties are more evident. Four hundred and twenty-three children aged 7 to 10 years old, both sexes from elementary school, participated in the present study. Participants were assessed by the Movement Assessment Battery for Children – 2 (MABC-2) and identified with Motor Difficulty (MD), Risk at motor difficult and Typical Development (TD). Statistical analyzes were used to show the prevalence of children identified with TD, Risk and DM, to identify the differences between the sexes in this distribution and the scores on the motor components (Manual dexterity, Throw and Receive and Balance) and on the total MABC-2. The results showed 11,6% of the children were identified with DM and 25,8% were identified at Risk for motor difficulties. Although there was no difference between the prevalence of girls and boys identified with DM, girls performed better than boys in the Manual dexterity and Balance components of MABC-2, while boys performed better than girls on the Throw and Receive component of MABC-2. These results lead to the discussion that environmental factors, related to the socio-cultural context, can influence children’s motor development. In addition, it was possible to observe that the prevalence of children identified with DM in Fortaleza is similar to that found in the literature in other Brazilian regions. This prevalence is worrisome, considering the damages and problems caused by the difficulties, including the probable Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD). Identify children with motor difficulties helps in the process of intervention and care so that they can have a complete motor development.
