Abstract: This work presents a reflection on the consumption of adolescents in Brazil, tracing a panel of the historical formation of the Brazilian consumer society. For this, we discuss issues such as consumption concepts, adolescence as a historical concept, as well as the meanings of products that lead to consumption in contemporary society. With the increase in the production of products, as a result of the advent of capitalism, there is a tendency of society to show the usefulness of goods and services, value in use, to the symbolic value of products. In order to achieve the objective of the objectives, a bibliographic study was carried out. The research is thus considered as descriptive, exploratory and bibliographical.

Abstract: The university is an institution that has the duty to build and strengthen good eating habits, enabling its students to have access to nutritious meals, which is why, together with the attributions of student assistance, the University Restaurants - RU should be created. the university teaches about food education and nutrition and practical utility by adding a good menu for better brain nutrition to college meal systems. Nutrition as a preventive factor for diseases and maintenance of health status has been shown to be fundamental in several fields of research, both individual and collective. This research has as main objective to investigate the routine of the young students who attend the university restaurant of the campus of Pici. Compare foods eaten by groups of men and women, relating to vitamins A, C, E and fatty acids. He collaborated with 100 students from the UFC campus, 50 men and 50 women. The theoretical support had substrate in the studies of universities from north to south of the country that have already researched on student feeding and as a principle for nutritional measures was used the table of the World Health Organization - O.M.S. as well as the Brazilian Food Composition Table. The questionnaire was an instrument used to collect the data. Data analysis revealed that (1) women feed more than male students (2) consumption among fruits is higher for women and consumption of vegetables is higher for men. In this sense, this study emphasizes the importance of good nutrition for good learning.
