      <link>http://repositorio.ufc.br/handle/riufc/86383</link>
Abstract: This memorial presents my academic and professional training trajectory in Geography at the Federal University of Ceará. In this sense, the work aims to discuss the contributions of practical experiences developed during supervised internships to my professional formation as a geographer. It traces my academic path, which began in 2019, highlighting participation in environmental education outreach projects such as Sala Verde Água Viva and Museu Mundo Livre, as well as my involvement with the UFC Accessibility Office. The analysis focuses on two professional trajectories: territorial management at the Fortaleza Municipal Department of Finance (SEFIN) and socio-environmental consultancy at Fokus Sustainability Engineering. At SEFIN, emphasis is placed on the use of geotechnologies for urban and fiscal planning; at Fokus, the discussion addresses the implementation of the Environmental Education Program (PEA) and conflict mediation in communities affected by hydroelectric power plants. The study concludes that the articulation between the technical rigor of geoprocessing and the social sensitivity inherent to Geography was decisive in consolidating my professional identity to date, validating the geographer’s competence in both physical-spatial planning and social transformation.&#xD;
Keywords: experience, environmental education, territorial management, internships.

Abstract: This research seeks to examine the extent to which anime contributes to the construction of Japan’s cultural image within the international sphere, with particular emphasis on the animated landscape as an instrument of Soft Power. Adopting a qualitative approach, the study is situated within the domains of Cultural Geography and Audiovisual Geographies, conceiving anime as cultural artifacts that encapsulate and project contemporary Japanese identity. By analyzing spatial representations of both urban and rural settings, as well as the interactions between characters and the environments in which they are situated, the research aims to elucidate how such visual constructions evoke elements of Japanese identity while simultaneously reflecting cultural strategies advanced by the Japanese government, notably through initiatives such as the “Cool Japan” program. Methodologically, the analysis is guided by three interpretive lenses: the authenticity of spatial representations, the reproduction of cultural stereotypes (ethnocentrism), and the subjective imprint of the author. Within this framework, particular attention is devoted to Hyouka, a work by Honobu Yonezawa, as a case study through which anime can be understood as a medium that interweaves cultural symbols, collective memory, and social values. Although animated, these narratives actively reinforce Japan’s cultural presence and influence beyond its borders. Furthermore, the study underscores the role of Japanese popular culture, especially manga and anime, as central emblems of contemporary Japanese soft power. These cultural forms, functioning simultaneously as diplomatic and economic instruments, reveal their potency as symbolic resources capable of shaping global perceptions of Japan.

      <link>http://repositorio.ufc.br/handle/riufc/85476</link>
Abstract: The coastal zone is a highly dynamic area, acting as an interface between the continent and the ocean, marked by natural and geoecological phenomena. Its vulnerability to coastal interactions and human interventions intensifies imbalances in the natural sediment balance, generating pressures and impacts on the environment, economy, and society, with direct effects on the landscape. The valorization of coastal areas, especially since the 1970s, driven by tourism and real estate expansion, led to disordered occupation in the coastal region of Aquiraz-CE. This occupation, characterized by the construction of rigid structures, compromised sensitive ecosystems such as beaches, fluvial-marine plains, and dunes. These impacts, combined with global climate change, have exacerbated the issue of coastal erosion, altering sediment dynamics and intensifying environmental degradation. In light of this scenario, the main objective of the research was to analyze the space-time variability of coastal-marine processes along the coastline of Aquiraz-CE over a period of 9 years (2015-2024), using online geoprocessing techniques. For this purpose, the Coastal Analysis via Satellite Imagery Engine (CASSIE) tool was employed, a free web application that allows access to the Sentinel-2A satellite image catalog through the Google Earth Engine (GEE) platform. This tool enabled the calculation of the space-time variation of the coastline. The data obtained were analyzed using the Linear Regression Rate (LRR) statistical method, which stands out for allowing the full use of the historical series of coastline data, offering a comprehensive analysis of changes over time and enabling the assessment of the studied beach’s condition regarding erosion, accretion, or stability over the analyzed period. The results of the coastline variation analysis in Aquiraz-CE indicated that a total of 36% of the studied area was classified as affected by erosive processes, especially in sections 1 and 2, which were recorded in urban clusters. Therefore, these results should be used as a reference for future coastal management planning, as the data provide an overview of the current state of erosion in the studied areas.

      <title>Estrutura circular no relevo: o caso de Morro do Chapéu-BA</title>
      <link>http://repositorio.ufc.br/handle/riufc/83684</link>
      <description>Título: Estrutura circular no relevo: o caso de Morro do Chapéu-BA
Autor(es): Silva, Felipe Dias Lopes da
Abstract: This study aimed to analyze and disseminate the morphological and structural characteristics, as well as to propose the evolutionary model of a circular structure located in Morro do Chapéu, Bahia, Brazil. The research included pre-field, field, and post-field stages, involving literature review, acquisition of drone images, generation of an orthophoto and digital elevation model (DEM), data analysis, and vectorization of structural lineaments. The main circular structure presents concentric terraces, dendritic radial drainage, and compartmentalization into five geomorphological units, including vegetated areas, isolated blocks, and exposed rock surfaces. Results indicate that its formation derives from the interaction between structural, weathering, and erosive factors, which transformed an originally more angular structure into a circular-shaped landform. It is concluded that the structure does not have a magmatic, volcanic, or meteorite impact origin, with its formation being possibly linked to the combined action of processes associated with sedimentary environments, such as weathering, erosion and structural control. Finally, further studies are recommended to investigate the tectonic and climatic influences on the relief evolution in the area, deepening the understanding of the processes and their impact on local and regional geomorphology.
