      <title>Plataforma robótica multissensorial de baixo custo para uso em robótica educacional</title>
      <link>http://repositorio.ufc.br/handle/riufc/85385</link>
      <description>Título: Plataforma robótica multissensorial de baixo custo para uso em robótica educacional
Autor(es): Nascimento, Ryan Guilherme Morais
Abstract: This work proposes the development of a low-cost multisensory robot inspired by the TurtleBot&#xD;
manufactured by OpenRobotics, aimed at educational applications in basic and higher education.&#xD;
The robotic platform integrates low-power embedded systems such as the Raspberry Pi Pico W,&#xD;
multiple sensors (LiDAR, ultrasonic sensors, encoders, IMU), and uses the Robot Operating&#xD;
System 2 (ROS2) as middleware for communication among components. The distinguishing&#xD;
feature of the proposal lies in the combination of low cost, open-source design, and pedagogical&#xD;
versatility, enabling its use across different educational levels. The methodology encompasses&#xD;
the design and implementation of the physical platform, the development of pedagogical practices grounded in active learning and constructionism included in a website developed in this&#xD;
work, integration with No-Code visual programming platforms such as BIPES, and the design&#xD;
of educational activities aligned with national curricular guidelines. The analysis of related&#xD;
work highlights the originality of the proposal by combining financial accessibility, technical&#xD;
robustness, and pedagogical flexibility. The results include a functional robotic platform, comprehensive documentation for reproduction and adaptation, and a structured set of educational&#xD;
activities that foster the development of computational thinking, creativity, and collaborative&#xD;
work. The platform was also tested in a higher education Robotics class, where its performance&#xD;
was evaluated through a satisfaction survey, where it showed satisfactory results, especially in&#xD;
the educational area. The project aims to contribute to the democratization of robotics education&#xD;
in Brazil by offering a viable alternative tailored to the national educational context.

      <title>Desenvolvimento de um sistema de monitoramento e análise online de corrente e tensão</title>

      <description>Título: Desenvolvimento de um sistema de monitoramento e análise online de corrente e tensão

Abstract: This work presents the development of an embedded system for monitoring and analyzing electrical quantities in single-phase alternating current (AC) circuits, with an emphasis on digital signal acquisition and processing. The hardware architecture is based on the ESP32-C6 microcontroller integrated with the BL0942 energy measurement circuit. For instrumentation purposes, a nonintrusive current sensor (PZKHCT) and a voltage sensor (ZMPT101B) were employed, whose signals undergo analog conditioning and filtering stages prior to digitization.Data acquisition is performed continuously, enabling the calculation of active, reactive, and apparent power, as well as the power factor. Experimental validation included comparison of the acquired signals with reference instruments, such as an oscilloscope and a multimeter, in addition to spectral analysis using the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). This procedure allowed the verification of waveform f idelity, the analysis of harmonic distortions, and the identification of peak values, demonstrating the usefulness of the proposed solution for residential energy monitoring applications.

Abstract: This work proposes the development of an embedded computer prototype aimed at expanding accessibility for individuals with visual impairments. The system runs software developed in the Python language, featuring a customized and rigorously structured graphical interface to ensure compatibility and fluid interaction with screen reader software. Hardware interaction is facilitated by the inclusion of physical pushbuttons connected to the Raspberry Pi’s GPIO ports: one button dedicated to the program’s immediate startup and another specifically designed for closing tabs and windows, simplifying system control without exclusive reliance on complex keyboard commands. The program offers a range of optimized shortcuts for essential configurations, such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, file explorer access, date and time verification, and web browsing, operating entirely locally to ensure privacy and performance. The results of functional and accessibility validations demonstrated that the prototype fully meets the established requirements, featuring immediate activation of hardware components and compliance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines. Controlled usability tests revealed that the system provides intuitive and autonomous navigation, significantly reducing cognitive overload compared to conventional systems. It is concluded that the integration between the embedded hardware and the assistive interface is technically feasible, consolidating it as an effective digital inclusion tool for people with low vision or total blindness.

Abstract: This work presents a systematic literature review on the application of power line communication technology in low-voltage networks for smart residential environments. The study analyzes 62 articles published between 2019 and 2025, following the PRISMA protocol, with a focus on PLC operation, modulation techniques, technical challenges, and performance comparison with wireless technologies. The results indicate that PLC is a viable and complementary alternative for home automation, particularly due to the use of existing electrical infrastructure, offering advantages in terms of coverage and robustness in indoor environments. However, its adoption is constrained by challenges such as electromagnetic interference, impulsive noise, impedance variability, and lack of standardization. The review also identifies gaps in the literature, including the scarcity of studies conducted in real residential scenarios and the need for greater integration with hybrid technologies and energy management systems. It is concluded that PLC has the potential to support smart home applications but requires technical and regulatory advances to be consolidated as a large-scale communication solution.
