      <description>Título: A construção de personagens inspirados em pessoas reais no design de narrativas gráficas: um estudo aplicado na criação de um mini-gibi autoral
Autor(es): Baracho, Gabriel Lucas Pessoa
Abstract: This study aims to investigate the development of characters inspired by real&#xD;
people in the design of graphic narratives. It proposes the creation of an original&#xD;
mini-comic that integrates principles of graphic design and visual storytelling. In this&#xD;
context, the work seeks to explore the following question: how can the design of&#xD;
characters inspired by real individuals visually represent physical traits and&#xD;
personality aspects in an original mini-comic? To address this, scientific and&#xD;
project-based methodologies were adopted, including case analysis and the&#xD;
adaptation of product design stages, aiming to demonstrate how graphic&#xD;
representation contributes to a clear, expressive, and accessible narrative. The study&#xD;
intends to offer insights that connect both with the academic field and creative&#xD;
practices in the development of characters for original visual stories

      <title>Sistemas de interfaces alternativas para mobilidade reduzida</title>
      <link>http://repositorio.ufc.br/handle/riufc/86522</link>
      <description>Título: Sistemas de interfaces alternativas para mobilidade reduzida
Autor(es): Silva, Gabriel Eduardo Oliveira da
Abstract: This study addresses the development of assistive technologies aimed at&#xD;
individuals with severe reduced mobility, with the goal of expanding their autonomy in&#xD;
interaction with digital systems and physical devices. Given the limitations imposed by&#xD;
traditional interfaces based on touch or movement, the development of the Gestus&#xD;
System is proposed—an alternative interface predominantly based on eye tracking and&#xD;
blink detection. The adopted methodology is grounded in the principles of User-&#xD;
Centered Design and Human-Computer Interaction, prioritizing accessibility, usability,&#xD;
and low cost. The system’s development utilized accessible and open-source&#xD;
technologies, such as Arduino, OpenCV, and MediaPipe, organized in a modular&#xD;
architecture composed of independent interaction blocks.&#xD;
As a practical development, the system was applied to the control of a&#xD;
graphical interface integrated with physical devices, represented by an assistive robotic&#xD;
gripper. Brain-computer interfaces based on EEG were conceptually analyzed as a&#xD;
future possibility for system expansion, though they were not implemented at this stage.&#xD;
The results obtained indicate that the modular architecture of the Gestus&#xD;
System facilitates adaptation to different levels of motor impairment, showing good&#xD;
acceptance in usability tests. It is concluded that the system represents a significant&#xD;
advancement in the development of accessible, human-centered, and socially inclusive&#xD;
technologies

      <title>Cartografia ilustrada dos nichos comerciais e da memória urbana do centro de Fortaleza: do comércio ao afeto</title>

      <description>Título: Cartografia ilustrada dos nichos comerciais e da memória urbana do centro de Fortaleza: do comércio ao afeto
Autor(es): Ferreira, Elita Maria Ramos Colares
Abstract: This research investigates the application of information design in the construction of an&#xD;
affective and illustrated cartography of the city center of Fortaleza, understanding the map as&#xD;
an instrument for representing the urban, commercial, and social dynamics of the territory.&#xD;
The general objective is to develop a graphic artifact that integrates technical data with the&#xD;
subjective dimensions of urban experience. The theoretical framework articulates references&#xD;
from historical cartography, urban image studies, affective cartography, and information&#xD;
design. Methodologically, the study adopts a qualitative and exploratory approach, structured&#xD;
through documentary research, field surveys, and affective mapping, which included&#xD;
interviews, photographic records, and the use of a graphic diary as a visual experimentation&#xD;
laboratory. The design process involved the cataloging of approximately 1,500 commercial&#xD;
establishments, combined with the analysis of affective narratives and memories collected&#xD;
from 53 interviewees about the city center. As a result, the research proposes a printed&#xD;
cartography that enhances legibility and spatial orientation while valuing memory and a sense&#xD;
of belonging, contributing to new forms of reading, experiencing, and appropriating the&#xD;
historical and everyday heritage of the city center of Fortaleza
