    <title>Epidemiological study of civil servants on leave due to mental disorders in a public educational institution</title>
    <link>http://repositorio.ufc.br/handle/riufc/63967</link>
    <description>Título: Epidemiological study of civil servants on leave due to mental disorders in a public educational institution
Autor(es): Abreu, Francileudo Santos de; Silva Junior, Geraldo Bezerra da
Abstract: Objective: To investigate the sociodemographic, occupational and morbidity characteristics of civil servants on leave due to mental&#xD;
and behavioral disorders (MBD) and the associations of these characteristics with early leave. Methods: Longitudinal (retrospective&#xD;
cohort) study carried out at the Ceará Federal Institute of Education (IFCE) with a view to identifying the epidemiological profile of&#xD;
civil servants who were on leave due to MBD (n=250) from 2010 to 2018 and the associations of epidemiological characteristics&#xD;
(sex, job category, workplace, length of service at the institution, marital status, age range and salary) with early leave through&#xD;
the Kaplan-Meier curves. Results: There were 684 leaves due to MBD among 250 civil servants (incidence of 4.9%), resulting in&#xD;
22,409 days away from work (DAW) and financial effects of approximately R$ 6,845,220. There was an increase in the number&#xD;
of leaves, days away from work, and rate of incidence of civil servants on leave during the study period. The group of mood&#xD;
disorders (F30-F39) in ICD-10 was the main cause of leaves due to MBD (n=367; 53.6%) and DAW (13,057). The survival analysis&#xD;
showed earlier leaves among civil servants in the countryside, single individuals, those aged 18-39 years, and those with up to 9&#xD;
years of service at the institution and belonging to economic class C. Conclusion: There was an increase in leaves, DAW and&#xD;
incidence of civil servants on leave due to MBD at IFCE, with a predominance of mood disorders, which generated high financial&#xD;
effects for the institution. There was evidence of a positive association between some sociodemographic characteristics and&#xD;
early leave due to MBD.

    <title>Aprendizagem ativa e híbrida na formação médica sobre Políticas Públicas de Saúde</title>

Abstract: The objective was to describe the experience related to active and hybrid learning in medical training on public health policies in a state public institution of higher education. The course was offered from December 2019 to April 2020 in the 4th semester of the Medical Course for a class consisting of 36 students. The main active methodologies used in conducting the discipline were: Flipped Classroom, Problem Based Learning (PBL), educational game and project based learning. Hybrid teaching consisted of using GoogleClassroom, a content management system for the purpose of sharing materials for reading, explaining and receiving activities, as well as assessing learning. At the end of the course, an institutional assessment was carried out through Google Forms to apprehend the students' perception of teaching and learning methods, teachers and the contribution to medical training, in addition to capturing the positives, negatives and suggestions. Active learning methodologies and hybrid teaching provided theoretical-practical integration of the contents; greater student engagement and active participation; strengthening of collaborative work; sensitizing and motivating environment for learning; continuous feedback and quality in learning management. However, it was pointed out as disadvantages the high load of didactic activities and overload of the most dedicated students in group activities, which demonstrates the importance of the teaching role as a learning mediator.

Abstract: As a part of the Family Health Support Center (FHSC), the Primary Healthcare physical &#xD;
therapist should promote health and prevent diseases, which includes actions of matrix support, &#xD;
strategic planning, situational analysis, territorialization, individual, shared visits, home visits, among &#xD;
others. We seek to describe the skills and discuss the challenges of performing physical therapy &#xD;
assignments of the FHSC according to the reality of a county in Ceará, based on the perspective of &#xD;
a physical therapist resident in Family Health. This experience report used the narrative-analytical &#xD;
method based on the reports and the daily life experienced by the author in the city of Horizonte, &#xD;
Ceará. In order to properly perform these tasks, the professional needs a technical and logistical &#xD;
apparatus that many municipalities cannot offer, such as material for practical intervention, adequate &#xD;
means of transport and a multiprofessional team that meets the needs of the area. In Horizonte, &#xD;
considering its demography and its recently-founded nature, there was no possibility of performing &#xD;
the previously mentioned attributions. One can report the difficulty in using transportation for &#xD;
home visits and other external activities, the rigor of the physical therapist’s training with a clinical &#xD;
focus, and barriers in performing the matrix support. However, the professional created strategies &#xD;
for performing the service adequately and managed multidisciplinary intervention groups and &#xD;
activities. In order to minimize these challenges, it is necessary for managers to provide institutional &#xD;
support to the physical therapist, to call for a more competitive public tender to cover the territory, &#xD;
and to offer specific training according to the FHSC healthcare guidelines.

Abstract: Background: Brazil has the third largest prison population in the world. In 2016, the female prison population&#xD;
totaled 42,000, an increase of 656% over the population recorded in the early 2000s. The objective of this study was&#xD;
to describe the socialeconomic and reproductive health of women in Brazilian prisons, and the specific assistance&#xD;
received within the prison system.&#xD;
Methods: This is a first of its kind national survey conducted in 15 female prisons in eight Brazilian states between&#xD;
2014 and 2015. The sample consisted of 1327 women in closed or semi-open prison regimes. Data collection used&#xD;
Audio Computer-Assisted Self-Interviewing (ACASI). STATA v.15. Was use in analysis. The study was submitted to the&#xD;
Research Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Ceará, under CEP protocol No. 1,024,053.&#xD;
Results: The population was overwhelmingly Black or Brown, poor and little educated. When women worked&#xD;
previously, they had worked as domestic servants and were the sole source of income for their families. Most were&#xD;
mothers, with 39% having children less than 10 years old, now in the care of others. Most were in jail for drug related crimes. Prisons were crowded, with more than 2/3rds of the inmates sharing a cell with 6 or more inmates.&#xD;
Services were provide, but women had not had a cervical cancer screening within the past 3 years and breast&#xD;
cancer screening was not conducted.&#xD;
Conclusions: Overall, given their backround and prison conditions they are unlikely to change the circumstances&#xD;
that brought them to prison in the first place.
