Autor(es): Amaral, Eros Gabriel Oliveira do
Abstract: This article sought to understand the symbology present in the indumentary used in Umbanda sessioms at the Centro Espírita de Umbanda General de Brigada. For this, the lines of Exu and Pombogira, Pretos Velhos and Caboclos were studied. Analyzing from colonization and the formation of the Brazilian people, it contextualized the religion from its origins and then exposed the results. It explores clothing and accessories as ritualistic and sacred instruments. Through bibliographical research and field research - an interview with the Mother of Saint Sílvia Policarpo - it was possible to establish how clothing carries a symbolic value that transcends its aesthetic function.

    <description>Título: O comportamento de consumo de moda online entre os jovens da Geração Z no Curso de design de moda da Universidade Federal do Ceará
Autor(es): Costa, Ester Ferreira Rampal da
Abstract: The research aims to understand the purchasing behavior of Z Generation individuals, from the perspective of fashion consumption in the digital space. The bibliographic and documentary research method was used, together with field research, where online forms were made available, with 9 questions that sought to understand the perspective of undergraduate students of the Fashion Design course at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), about the topic in question. The phenomenon of consumption and its relationship with fashion are conceptualized, to later understand who is part of Z generation, their characteristics and how these individuals are corresponding with consumption in the virtual environment. It is concluded that the experience in the digital environment instigates in young people the desire to consume more fashion, as on the internet there is a greater variety of pieces and different styles, thus being preferred for obtaining fashion items, making the frequency of purchases recurring online activity in the daily lives of Z generation.

Autor(es): Veras, Veronica Cavalcante
Abstract: This article seeks to reflect on the tangential process between fashion and art through the&#xD;
analysis of a case study of the Maison Schiaparelli brand, which created its brand using the&#xD;
plasticity of the surrealist movement as a reference. Bibliographical and documentary&#xD;
research was carried out, and interviews obtained during the data collection phase. The article&#xD;
focuses on the relationship between art and fashion, the influence of surrealism on the haute couture house Maison Schiaparelli and the designer's relationship with Salvador Dalí. Finally,&#xD;
how her brand was developed from this artistic movement that influenced her creative&#xD;
process and made her one of the most famous luxury brands today. With research into the&#xD;
history of the surrealist movement and the story of the artist Salvador Dali, who was one of&#xD;
the driving forces behind this movement, the direct relationship between art and fashion is&#xD;
analyzed, and it ends with an approach to the Maison Schiaparelli brand to understand the&#xD;
history of the brand. The results of the research point to a symbolic relationship between art&#xD;
and fashion, which highlights the importance of art-related research as a foundation for&#xD;
academic training in fashion design
