    <description>Título: Da terra: roça, farinhada e comida no campesinato de Camocim
Autor(es): Santos, Miguel Francisco de Paulo Rodrigues dos
Abstract: This study draws on accounts and field observations of the daily lives of peasant communities&#xD;
in the communities of Tapuio, Olho D’Água, Fazendinha, and Cupim, in Camocim, Ceará. It&#xD;
focuses on their techniques and experiences in preparing food characteristic of the rural area&#xD;
of that region, as well as on the relations of exchange and commensality developed around its&#xD;
production and circulation. These practices include animal husbandry, small-scale farming,&#xD;
manioc flour production ("Farinhada"), and religious and leisure events, which are traditional&#xD;
elements of peasant life in rural Ceará.

    <title>Percursos antropológicos de homens TRANS: entre suas histórias de vida e os acessos aos sistemas de saúde</title>

    <description>Título: Percursos antropológicos de homens TRANS: entre suas histórias de vida e os acessos aos sistemas de saúde
Autor(es): Carneiro, Ana Izabele
Abstract: This study originated from research conducted with transgender men, established&#xD;
through remote interviews. The purpose of the study is to present the stories of these&#xD;
interviewees, understanding their processes of identification as transgender men, as well as&#xD;
their life trajectories, family relationships, and experiences with health care systems. Based on&#xD;
these assumptions, theories about gender, transmasculinities, transsexuality, and this&#xD;
population's access to healthcare systems allow for interaction with empirical research,&#xD;
assisting in reflections and repercussions of anthropological knowledge. Therefore, this&#xD;
investigation arises from the possibility of interaction in communication systems that transmit&#xD;
digital information. To make this study feasible, digital anthropology will be used, combined&#xD;
with narrative and oral history techniques. Additionally, emphasis is given to the contributions&#xD;
of the interlocutors who, through their statements, contributed to the expansion of the themes&#xD;
analyzed and to a more profound understanding through their personal accounts in reflections&#xD;
on transmasculinities in social contexts. It is hoped that the research will provide new&#xD;
perspectives on knowledge, promote reflection, and pave the way for new tactics on the topics&#xD;
covered in the text.

    <title>Entre o tempo do sonho e o tempo do mundo: interlocuções entre antropologia e ficção científica em “Floresta é o nome do mundo” (1972), de Ursula K. Le Guin</title>

    <description>Título: Entre o tempo do sonho e o tempo do mundo: interlocuções entre antropologia e ficção científica em “Floresta é o nome do mundo” (1972), de Ursula K. Le Guin
Autor(es): Dias, Ana Luiza da Silva
Abstract: This dissertation discusses the possible interlocutions between Anthropology and Science&#xD;
Fiction, focusing on the book “The Word for World is Forest”, by the American writer Ursula&#xD;
K. Le Guin (1929-2018). To carry out this investigation, I mapped and analyzed academic&#xD;
works that connect science fiction studies with anthropological discussions. Throughout this&#xD;
mapping, as I searched for theoretical links between science fiction and Anthropology, the&#xD;
recurrence of references to and analyses of this writer’s literary works became evident. The&#xD;
justification commonly offered by these authors is that her family context influenced her writing&#xD;
and the creation of the fictional worlds she developed over her career – Le Guin was the&#xD;
daughter of Alfred Kroeber (1876-1960), an anthropologist and founder of the Anthropology&#xD;
Department at Berkeley, California, in the early twentieth century. Due to this proximity to the&#xD;
discipline – although the writer herself contested such influence – some authors have argued&#xD;
that her science fiction works could be characterized as exercises in “speculative anthropology”:&#xD;
that is, by speculating about the future, Ursula K. Le Guin composes futuristic settings and&#xD;
cultures with an attention similar to that of an anthropologist producing an ethnography,&#xD;
attending to aspects such as culture, biology, politics, gender issues, and so on. In order to&#xD;
narrow the scope of this research to a single literary work by Le Guin, I selected the 1972&#xD;
novella “The Word for World is Forest” as the object of analysis, since it brings together themes&#xD;
central to Anthropology, such as issues related to colonialism, violent encounters between&#xD;
alterities, and the human (dis)connection with nature. Among these themes, I chose to relate to&#xD;
anthropological discussions the importance of dreaming both for the constitution of the&#xD;
Athshean Dreamer as an individual and for political practice, as well as the conflicts that arise&#xD;
from the actions of an anthropologist in the field within a colonial context. Methodologically, I&#xD;
gathered literature that explores the dialogues between Anthropology and Science Fiction,&#xD;
emphasizing works that analyze Ursula K. Le Guin’s writings, and I sought classical&#xD;
contributions that could offer theoretical support for the discussions proposed through the&#xD;
reading of the book.

    <title>Patrimônio cultural e políticas patrimoniais: um estudo antropológico sobre o quilombo da base em Pacajus-CE</title>
    <link>http://repositorio.ufc.br/handle/riufc/84396</link>
    <description>Título: Patrimônio cultural e políticas patrimoniais: um estudo antropológico sobre o quilombo da base em Pacajus-CE
Autor(es): Silva, Anne Caroline Santos
Abstract: This dissertation falls within the field of studies on Afro-Brazilian cultural heritage, taking as&#xD;
its object of analysis the Quilombola Community of Base, located in the municipality of&#xD;
Pacajus, Ceará. The work contextualizes the heritage processes promoted by the Brazilian&#xD;
State since the Federal Constitution of 1988, critically analyzing the historical transition of&#xD;
preservation policies and the persistence of gaps in the recognition of black heritage. The&#xD;
central issue guiding the investigation questions whether, in a context where cultural heritage&#xD;
is polysemic and permeated by symbolic power struggles, the current criteria and procedures&#xD;
for listing and registration are sufficient and adequate for the effective protection of&#xD;
Quilombola cultural assets. The methodology adopted is ethnography, combining quantitative&#xD;
and qualitative approaches for data production and analysis, developed through fieldwork&#xD;
carried out between April 2024 and October 2025. Participant observation techniques and&#xD;
semi-structured interviews with community leaders and residents were used. The overall&#xD;
objective is to understand the configuration of the cultural heritage of Quilombo da Base,&#xD;
articulating the specific objectives: I - to analyze heritage legislation aimed at the&#xD;
Afro-Brazilian segment; II - to understand the sociocultural elements that characterize local&#xD;
identity; III - to contribute to the cataloging of community assets.
