Título: Judicialização da saúde na saúde suplementar: uma revisão de literatura
Autor(es): Leite, Maria Bianca de Paula
Abstract: Although healthcare is a fundamental right for Brazilians, there is a conflict
between the right to healthcare and the scarcity of budgetary resources.
Therefore, this article aims to present an observation about the
judicialization of healthcare in the scope of supplementary healthcare,
pointing out the possible impacts of this phenomenon on healthcare
providers. Without the intention of solving all the issues involving the
regulation of supplementary healthcare and the role of the Judiciary, factors
that compose the legal and actuarial perspectives on such impacts are
addressed to seek a proposal for alignment between actuarial balance and
the guarantee of healthcare as a fundamental human right. Finally, the need
to adopt measures aimed at promoting a more equitable healthcare system
is observed, whether through investments in public policies that make the
services provided by healthcare plans to users clearer and more
understandable, in order to avoid conflicts and legal disputes.

Título: Desenvolvimento acadêmico e social através dos centros acadêmicos: um estudo de caso no Curso de Ciências Atuariais da UFC

Abstract: Participation in Academic Student Organizations has been recognized as a crucial mechanism for the academic, social, and political development of university students, fostering skills that extend beyond the classroom environment. This study aims to analyze the impact of participation in the Prof. Emílio Recamonde Academic Student Organization (CAPER) on the academic and social development of students enrolled in the Actuarial Science program at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC). Adopting a qualitative approach, this research explores the perceptions and experiences of students directly engaged in CAPER’s activities. Data collection was conducted through interviews with active members, using a structured questionnaire
comprising both closed and open-ended questions, allowing for an in-depth analysis of responses. Additionally, the study reviews previous research on student participation in Academic Student Organizations and the actuarial job market, offering a comparative overview of skills, potentialities, and gaps identified among students in the field. The key findings suggest that involvement in CAPER significantly contributes to the development of social, political, and leadership skills, while also enhancing student interaction and fostering a sense of belonging within the program. However, challenges were identified in expanding the reach of activities and promoting greater engagement among the student body.

Título: Grandes modelos de linguagem aplicados à análise de precificação de plano de saúde
Autor(es): Santos, Milena Bezerra dos
Abstract: This study aims to test the performance of Large Language Models (LLMs) in conducting regression analyses, with a focus on practical applications for health plan pricing. To achieve this, open data provided by the National Supplementary Health Agency (ANS) will be used, ensuring a reliable foundation for model evaluation. The core approach focuses on assessing
the ability of LLMs to perform actuarial calculations accurately and support decision-making in the context of supplementary health. In addition to analyzing technical performance, the research also evaluates the validity and
reliability of LLMs, identifying their limitations and areas for improvement. As a result, the study aims to propose alternatives that contribute to enhancing actuarial practices in the healthcare market. It considers the potential of these models to provide innovative solutions for challenges related to health product pricing and rating, as well as for optimizing traditional processes.
Ultimately, this research seeks not only to assess the effectiveness of LLMs in the current landscape but also to foster the development of new actuarial techniques based on artificial intelligence, with a positive impact on the supplementary healthcare market.

Abstract: The present study aims to analyze the cyber risks faced by companies and
demonstrate how Microsoft Power BI can be used to monitor and mitigate such risks. The research encompassed the categorization of cyber risks, their financial and strategic impacts, and the importance of data analysis in preventing and responding to incidents. By applying Business Intelligence techniques and actuarial modeling, valuable insights were extracted regarding the relationship between fraud, operational failures, workforce size, and financial impact across different sectors and regions. The results indicate that highly digitalized sectors, such as finance, manufacturing, and information technology, are the most affected by losses resulting from cyber threats.
The analysis showed that external fraud, operational disruptions, and system failures are the primary loss drivers, reinforcing the need for robust digital governance. The use of Power BI proved effective in identifying patterns, tracking key metrics, and supporting strategic decision-making. The tool enabled the creation of dynamic dashboards, facilitating risk detection and mitigation. In the actuarial field, the research highlights the importance of statistical modeling in pricing cyber insurance and defining adequate technical provisions. It is concluded that efficient cyber risk management requires a multidisciplinary approach, combining technology, data intelligence, and
digital security strategies. The study underscores the relevance of BI-based solutions in enhancing organizational resilience in an increasingly interconnected and cyber-vulnerable environment.
