Abstract: Le document présent un extrait de la thése de doctorat du premier auteur, en comparant et identifiant les éléments pertinents qui indiquent comment la transition interne du Calcul à une Variable – CUV pour le Calcul de plusieurs Variables – CVV. Ces élements sont discutés dans le contexte d´une analyse des libres utilisés dans l´environement académique, dans l´enseignement des cours en License et en Baccalauréat dans l´État du Ceará. Ainsi, ont choizi Guidorizzi (2008 ; 2010), Leithold (1994 ; 1999) et Stewart (2004a, 2004b), et basé sur les catégories décrites dans Alves (2011) et l´adoption de techniques d´analyse de contenu (BARDIN, 1979), on a inspeccioner ces manuels, avec l´intention d´souligner des éléments que peuvent agir comme des obstacles à cette transition et que ne sont pas devenus l´objet d´une recherce à ce jour au Brésil.

Abstract: This article provides a theoretical discussion&#xD;
about teaching and methodological elements&#xD;
related to the concept of geometric progressions.&#xD;
This content of study, compulsory in school&#xD;
education, is an important element of specific&#xD;
knowledge for future Mathematics teachers. Some&#xD;
of the methodological aspects discussed include&#xD;
the issues of quality of textbooks and the use of&#xD;
technology in the intuitive teaching of the&#xD;
referred concept. Some considerations related to&#xD;
the application of the learning methodology&#xD;
called Fedathi’s Sequence are also presented. Its&#xD;
use exemplifies certain moments of the&#xD;
teaching/learning process which promote&#xD;
student's intuition and try to answer particular&#xD;
questions which are recurrent in the training&#xD;
environment of Mathematics teachers, such as:&#xD;
How do you teach geometric progressions?&#xD;
Which methodology should be employed? These&#xD;
questions seem natural for a future teacher.&#xD;
However, theses and dissertations are also&#xD;
discussed, some of them produced in other&#xD;
countries, which indicate problems in the&#xD;
academic studies and do not prepare the&#xD;
teachers-to-be to answer these and other specific&#xD;
questions. Finally, there are the final&#xD;
considerations and recommendations for the&#xD;
future teacher who graduates from the Federal&#xD;
Institute of Education, Science and Technology of&#xD;
Ceará - IFCE.
