Abstract: The quality of life at work involves several factors that can directly impact organizational&#xD;
commitment. This study aimed to analyze the perception of employees from an insurance&#xD;
company in Fortaleza regarding the link between quality of life at work and organizational&#xD;
commitment. To this end, a qualitative and descriptive survey was conducted, with data&#xD;
collected through semi-structured interviews with eight employees of an insurance brokerage&#xD;
firm. Content analysis was used for data interpretation. The findings revealed that some&#xD;
dimensions related to quality of life at work were negatively evaluated by the employees of the&#xD;
studied brokerage firm—compensation and benefits, opportunities for professional growth,&#xD;
work-life balance, and working conditions. The other aspects—social integration, use and&#xD;
development of skills and knowledge, and social relevance—were considered more positively,&#xD;
although respondents clarified that all dimensions had areas for improvement. Regarding&#xD;
organizational commitment, instrumental commitment stood out the most among the&#xD;
responses, as financial factors and the lack of better opportunities in the job market were the&#xD;
main reasons for employees remaining in the organization. The findings suggest that the link&#xD;
between the evaluation of the eight dimensions of quality of life at work contributes to&#xD;
strengthening organizational commitment based on the prioritization of individual interests&#xD;
rather than alignment with the company’s goals.

Abstract: Organizations seek efficiency and agility in the development of their projects and, faced with a&#xD;
scenario of intense technological transformation and competitiveness, the implementation of&#xD;
Scrum becomes a fundamental strategy for organizations to adapt to market changes. This study&#xD;
analyzes the impacts of implementing Scrum on the development of projects and business&#xD;
processes, analyzing its influence on communication between work teams, product quality and&#xD;
customer satisfaction. The research was conducted by reviewing scientific articles published&#xD;
between 2013 and 2024, allowing the identification of the main motivators, challenges and&#xD;
benefits of agile methodology in organizations. The results show that Scrum improves internal&#xD;
communication, increases delivery efficiency and improves the quality of products and&#xD;
processes, providing value to interested parties. Furthermore, the analysis revealed that the&#xD;
implementation of the methodology depends on factors such as organizational culture, team&#xD;
training and the understanding of being agile in the teams’ mentality. As a limitation, the study&#xD;
identified a temporal variation in the articles, in which their distribution over the years was not&#xD;
homogeneous and there was no in-depth quantitative evaluation that accurately measured the&#xD;
impacts of applying Scrum. Based on these conclusions, it is suggested that future research&#xD;
explore the integration of Scrum with other agile methodologies and a comparative analysis with&#xD;
traditional methods, as well as its application in specific sectors and its impact on organizational&#xD;
culture.

Abstract: This study aims to investigate how teachers who have transitioned into administrative&#xD;
management roles develop managerial competencies within the context of public&#xD;
administration. To achieve this, the research initially sought to identify the essential&#xD;
competencies required for the effective performance of these administrative managers within&#xD;
the Personnel Management Coordination of a Department of Education. Subsequently, the&#xD;
methods and practices adopted for the development of managerial competencies in public&#xD;
management were analyzed. Finally, the challenges encountered in the practical application of&#xD;
these competencies, as well as the strategies used by administrative managers to overcome&#xD;
such difficulties, were examined. This is a qualitative and descriptive study, conducted&#xD;
through semi-structured interviews with teachers who assumed administrative roles in the&#xD;
Personnel Management Coordination of a Department of Education. Data analysis was&#xD;
performed using content analysis techniques, enabling the identification of patterns,&#xD;
challenges, and strategies adopted in the development of managerial competencies. The&#xD;
results indicate that the transition from teaching to administrative management is challenging,&#xD;
requiring the development of new competencies such as leadership, communication, and team&#xD;
management. Learning occurred mainly through practical experience, without structured&#xD;
institutional support, and was driven by self-directed learning strategies and peer exchanges.&#xD;
Given these findings, this study highlights the need for public administration to implement&#xD;
specific managerial training programs, providing structured support for teacher-managers and&#xD;
contributing to the effectiveness of management in the public sector.

Abstract: The development of professional skills of higher education students occurs through&#xD;
university education, which consists of the content provided by universities, as well&#xD;
as practical experiences by participating in extracurricular, for example, junior&#xD;
enterprises – educational and non-profit associations, managed only by students and&#xD;
supervised, in Ceará, by FEJECE, responsible for promoting the journey of junior&#xD;
enterprises, organizing initiatives that provide extension and support to the business&#xD;
experience of junior enterprises in Ceará. Through this combination, it is possible to&#xD;
bring students closer to the theoretical knowledge obtained in college and the&#xD;
practical experience obtained outside the classroom, providing the students’&#xD;
professionalization. Given this context, the general objective of this research is to&#xD;
understand how working in junior enterprises, in the sales area, contributes to the&#xD;
development of students' professional skills. Thus, a descriptive and qualitative&#xD;
research was developed through a quantitative survey, with technical bibliographic&#xD;
and field procedures, with data collection from primary sources, through the&#xD;
application of semi-structured interviews with a group of 10 students who are, or have&#xD;
been, part of the Junior Enterprise Movement in the state of Ceará, using the content&#xD;
analysis technique. The research showed that the main hard skills developed during&#xD;
the experience in the junior company in the sales area are knowing how to use the&#xD;
Customer Relationship Management tool, the Office Package and applying sales&#xD;
techniques. While the soft skills are knowing how to relate to customers, instilling&#xD;
confidence in customers, emotional self-control, conflict resolution, leadership,&#xD;
proactivity and knowing how to speak with the right words. In addition, it was also&#xD;
discussed that the main contributions of student participation in the junior enterprise&#xD;
are the promotion offered to the development of skills so that students can enter the&#xD;
job market, the initiatives of business enterprises and FEJECE to develop students'&#xD;
skills, through events and actions, and the view on the part of students that FEJECE&#xD;
contributes more to the development of behavioral skills.
