Abstract: Our aim is to retrieve the history of the public higher education institutions&#xD;
that offer distance learning via an agreement with the Open University of Brazil&#xD;
(UAB), with financial support from the Coordination for the Improvement of&#xD;
Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), especially those that have a history of&#xD;
offering distance learning degrees in mathematics in the state of Ceará: the&#xD;
Federal University of Ceará (UFC), the Federal Institute of Ceará (IFCE), the&#xD;
Federal University of Cariri (UFCA), the Regional University of Cariri (URCA) and&#xD;
the State University of Ceará (UECE). This research has a qualitative approach&#xD;
and is characterized as bibliographical and documentary. Its theoretical basis&#xD;
is books and articles on the history of distance education in Ceará. The results&#xD;
indicate that three institutions (UFC, UECE and IFCE) have a consolidated history&#xD;
of offering distance learning degrees, especially in Mathematics, while two&#xD;
(UFCA and URCA) are still embryonic and have few actions in this modality. In&#xD;
conclusion, it can be seen that the majority of public higher education institutions&#xD;
in Ceará (UFC, UECE and IFCE) already have a consolidated history of offering&#xD;
semi-presential higher education courses that are (were) offered by UAB/CAPES,&#xD;
especially those that offer a distance learning degree in Mathematics.

Abstract: The present work aims to identify the scientific articles that investigated the topic of pedagogical experiences with the degrees offered by the Instituto UFC Virtual in the period from 2017 to 2022. The theoretical basis brings a historical review of Distance Education (DE) at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), including the consolidation of UFC Virtual. The research methodology was the Systematic Literature Review (SLR), which can be defined as a me-thodology for researching scientific works that seeks better results from academic research that meet a research theme. The research bases used to collect and analyze articles were the UFC Institutional Repository and Oasisbr, in which the keywords “Distance Education” and “Ceará” and “Federal University of Ceará” were used. ”. It was found that of the 44 (UFC Repository) and 268 (Oasisbr) works, only 4 and 14, respectively, met the determined inclusion criteria. Of this new result, only 1 and 2 works, respectively, met the exclusion criteria. As conclusions, the identifi-cation of three scientific articles that were published in academic journals was observed. They tried to investigate, directly or indirectly, themes about the formative experiences of the UFC Virtual Institute’s undergraduate courses.

Abstract: The present study was carried out based on an extension project offered by the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), named Collaborative Interdisciplinary Training (FIC) executed in 2023. The purpose consisted in describing the process of the extension project, presented to students at UFC. Initially, it is assumed that the ones involved in this process belonged to the generation known as “digital native”, however, it is valid the reasoning that not all digital natives are digitally included let alone developed the competences to deal with digital resources in order to solve problems related to routine academic activities. Regarding the methodology used, we emphasize that the research has a qualitative approach, as well as being from the empirical and applied type. As results, it was observed the need to deepen the debate about the impact of digital competence in Brazilian higher education, with a focus on the initial qualification of undergraduate students, becoming indispensable that curricular designs for Brazilian higher education are disruptive and seek to increasingly address digital technologies during their academic qualification path.

    <summary type="text">Título: A Sequência Fedathi como trilha didática para promoção das competências de matemática da Base Nacional Comum Curricular

Abstract: This article aims to analyze the specific and general competences of mathematics teaching for elementary school pointed out in the BNCC such as the characteristics of the Fedathi Sequence practice found in its foundations. The research is classified as documentary, exploratory and qualitative, in which the BNCC is the document analyzed. The documental analysis was carried out through three stages according to Bardin's (1997) content analysis method. The theoretical framework was based on exploring the fundamentals and principles of the teaching methodology Fedathi Sequence; and, subsequently, present the BNCC competences for teaching Mathematics and how it defines and understands the concept of competence. As a result, it was shown that the specific and general competences for teaching Mathematics, at the level of Basic Education, of the BNCC are strongly related to the nine listed characteristics of the foundations and principles of the teaching methodology of the Fedathi Sequence. The conclusions of the research showed that at least two characteristics of the Fedathi Sequence are related to each specific Mathematics competence established by the BNCC for Primary Education, and that a connection can be found with up to eight of the characteristics presented and that characteristic nine connects with all the competences established by the BNCC; with regard to the four general competences for teaching Mathematics, the Maturation and Solution stages of this methodology are more present in these competences, as it is the moment in which the student places himself more as a protagonist in the construction of his knowledge. Which leads us to believe that Mathematical Literacy, which is based on these four general skills, can be developed, encouraged and built when using a teaching methodology such as the Fedathi Sequence, which encourages the student's direct participation in the construction of knowledge.
