Adequação do nursing activities score aos pressupostos teóricos da teoria holística

Abstract

Objective: the study aimed to reflect on the adequacy of nursing activities score (nas), an instrument for measuring the demand for intensive nursing care, the holistic theory. Method: this study examined, in a descriptive and exploratory, the scope of the activities described in the instrument, from the four principles of conservation of levine. Results: the results show that the instrument is broad enough to score corresponding to four care principles described by levine and some activities belonging to nas that are interchangeable to these principles. Conclusion: it is for professional nursing practice including nursing theory and the instrument they deem most appropriate to their context of action, seeking adoption of knowledge management practices that promote a better quality of care.
