A relação entre o figurino e o tema da quadrilha Filhos do Sol no ano de 2023

Abstract

The June period is highly anticipated here in Brazil due to the typical foods and square dance performances. Considering the cultural relevance in our state, this research examines the relationship between the attire and the theme of the 'Filhos do Sol' (Sons of the Sun) square dance in the year 2023 and the importance of working on these elements together, perceiving a connection. With data obtained through bibliographical research, by academic articles, books and other works on the same subject, as well as online interviews with two dancers and two people responsible for the quadrilha., it was possible to conclude that this relationship between both aspects brings a greater understanding to the audience of what is being presented in the square dance show, contributing to the playful nature, as attire is much more than just an element of beauty; it is also a characterizing element.
