| Resumo: | A agricultura familiar é um setor importante da agropecuária brasileira por gerar emprego, renda e produzir alimentos para o mercado interno, compreendendo tanto os agricultores com técnicas mais rudimentares quanto aqueles mais modernizados. Em 2017, o estado do Ceará era o terceiro com a maior quantidade de estabelecimentos agropecuários do UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DO CEARÁ CENTRO DE CIÊNCIAS AGRÁRIAS COORDENAÇÃO DO CURSO DE AGRONOMIA Repositório-ufc – TCC- pág. 2 de 3 Brasil, cerca de 297.862, e estes foram responsáveis por 40% do valor bruto da produção, em torno de R$ 2,18 bilhões. Nesse contexto, o objetivo deste trabalho é analisar o perfil dos agricultores, para o estado do Ceará. Os dados utilizados foram obtidos a partir do Censo Agropecuário de 2017, realizado pelo IBGE e submetidos à estatística descritiva. Constatou-se que a pecuária e criação de outros animais é a atividade econômica que demanda mais área, a maioria dos estabelecimentos são dirigidos por homens e adultos entre 55 e 65 anos, dos quais 53,32% são alfabetizados. Observou-se ainda que apenas 10,79% dos estabelecimentos receberam orientação técnica e 12,79% obtiveram financiamento, majoritariamente via Pronaf. |
| Abstract: | Family farming is an important sector of Brazilian agriculture for generating employment, income and producing food for the domestic market, comprising both farmers with more rudimentary techniques and more modernized ones. In 2017, the state of Ceará was the third with the largest number of agricultural establishments in Brazil, around 297,862, and these were responsible for 40% of the gross value of production, around R$ 2.18 billion. In this context, the objective of this work is to analyze the profile of farmers for the state of Ceará. The data used were obtained from the 2017 Agricultural Census, carried out by the IBGE and submitted to descriptive statistics. It was found that livestock and other animals are the economic activity that demands the most area, most establishments are run by men and adults between 55 and 65 years old, of which 53.32% are literate. It was also observed that only 10.79% of the establishments received technical guidance and 12.79% obtained funding, mostly via Pronaf. |
