Inventário florestal exploratório em área de regeneração natural no município de Aratuba, CE

Abstract

The work carried out is an exploratory forest survey in a fragment of Atlantic Forest in Aratuba – CE in a private propriety. Intending to evaluate the sample adequacy of comparative base between DBH, number of individuals, mean basal area and density, as well as the diametric dimension, floristic list and the phytosociological structure of the evaluated area. The plots were arranged randomly on the ground as long as they met the homogeneity, slope and distant pattern of the terrain. Adult arboreal individuals (CBH≥15cm) were evaluated in five randomly arranged 10 x 25 m sample units. 147 individuals were sampled, which are distributed in 15 botanical families and 26 different species. Sampling adequacy considering an infinite population, sampling error of 15% and significance level of 5%, presented the need for 8, 39 and 14 sample units for mean perimeter, basal area and density, respectively. The diametric distribution resulted in eight classes, concentrating the largest number of individuals in the first classes, inverted "J". The density observed was 1176 ind.ha-1, and the species Croton L., Chrysophyllum marginatum (Hook. & Arn.) Radlk., Unidentified 1, Cassia L., Guapira laxa (Netto) Furlan., Byrsonima sericea DC , Pithecolobium Mart., Zanthoxylum rhoifolium Lam., Inga Mill., Curatella americana L. were the ten most important value indexes. The continuation of the inventory can now be based on the evaluated criteria allowing the possibility of the owner to fit within their interests with the rural property.
