Diagnósticos de enfermagem em pacientes com distúrbios cardiovasculares: revisão de literatura

Abstract

Introduction: Cardiovascular diseases along with neoplasms, chronic respiratory diseases and diabetes mellitus are defined by the World Health Organization as chronic non-communicable diseases. The nursing diagnosis guide the other stages of the nursing process by sustaining the selection of nursing interventions aimed at achieving the results, guide the definition of focuses of interest for the investigation and performance of the nurse and his team. Goal: Search available evidences in the literature about nursing diagnosis in patients with cardiovascular disorders. Methodology: Internet searches were conducted in the following databases: Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), Literatura Latino-americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS), Cochrane, Web of Science and Scopus. The search happened in may and june of 2018. For the identification of the articles, the following descriptors were chosen: nursing diagnoses and cardiopathies. 12 articles were selected, all of them acquired through access to the electronic journals of the CAPES journal portal. Results: 100 nursing diagnoses were identified; among them, 18 diagnoses were observed with higher frequency of occurrence in the studies selected. Conclusions: The importance of the Nursing Process and the use of nursing diagnoses in clinical practice are highlighted. It is expected that this review will cooperate for the structuring of knowledge of nursing and assist in clinical practice of nurses who deal with patients with cardiovascular disorders, bringing benefits for the patients as well, since they are chronic conditions.
