| Abstract in Portuguese: | A ficção posmoderna da licença para deter-se na letura das operaços da intertextualidade e reescritura. No presente artígo, havemos selecionado o análise da reescritura genérica do conto de fadas partendo da novela “A princesa o enano e a mazmorra” incluída em Pequenos Reinos de Steven Millhauser. Interessa-nos o planteamento do cómo o texto muda-se numa metarefleção sobre o imaginário; segundo detetar a manifestação do discurso histórico e, no final, fazer um análise do carácter posmoderno da obra. |
| Abstract: | The posmodernist fiction allows the reader to dwell in the processes of intertextuality and rewriting. In this essay we have tried to analize the generic rewriting of faerie tales in the novel “The princess, the dwarf and the dungeon” incluided in the collection Little kingdoms by Steven Millhauser. We attempt to show how the text turns into a metareflection about the imaginary, then find the approach of the historical discourse and, lastly, establish the posmodern quality of this piece. |
