| Abstract in Brazilian Portuguese: | Seguindo Weinrich (1974), chamamos de Tempo à noção discutida historicamente (Whitrow, 1993) e de tempos ao comportamento do falante articulado nos dois grupos temporais do mundo comentado e do mundo narrado. O objetivo geral da pesquisa foi comparar o desempenho discursivo quanto às dimensões do sistema temporal, por meio de estudo dos verbos presentes em um jornal brasileiro de 1897 e de 1997, visando apreender as diferenças entre esses momentos de situação comunicativa. A análise, feita conforme Weinrich (1974) e Koch (1987), observou a atitude comunicativa, a perspectiva comunicativa e o relevo. Concluímos que, além da diferença na extensão dos planos narrativos, atualmente há mais comentário e remissão ao futuro e, no século anterior, mais narração e revisão do passado. |
| Abstract: | According to Weinrich (1974), we called Time to the notion historically discussed (Whitrow, 1993) and times to the behavior of articulated speaker in the two temporary groups of the commented world and of the narrated world. The general objective of the research was to compare the discursive performance as to the dimensions of the temporary system, by means of study of the present verbs in a Brazilian newspaper from 1897 and 1997s, seeking to apprehend the differences among those moments of communicative situations. According to Weinrich (1974) and Koch (1987), the analysis perceived the communicative attitude, the communicative perspective and the relief. We concluded that, besides the differences in the extension of the narrative plans, nowadays there are more comments and remission to the future and, in the previous century, more narration and revision of the past. |
