      <title>Narrativas fotográficas insurgentes: outros olhares sobre as Goiabeiras, na Barra do Ceará</title>

      <description>Título: Narrativas fotográficas insurgentes: outros olhares sobre as Goiabeiras, na Barra do Ceará
Autor(es): Souza, Luiz Freire de
Abstract: This dissertation, developed within the field of Communication, with a focus on Photog-raphy, aims to understand the photographic gestures produced by photographers who are also residents of the Goiabeiras neighborhood, located in Barra do Ceará, Fortaleza, Brazil, within a context marked by political advances and setbacks (Frosch, 2014; Mon-teiro, 2018). Drawing upon photographic narratives that emerge from the territory itself, this study analyzes four photographic essays: Não estou só de passagem (I'm Not Just Passing Through) (2013/2017), É história de pescador (A Fisherman's Tale) (2013/2018/2020), Bodega do Louro (2019), and Desde Pequeno (Since Childhood) (2018/2020/2024), as well as selected works by photographer and resident Valber Firmino (2015/2024). In order to conceive an insurgent photographic practice, the study engages with authors who shift the understanding of photography from a technical re-presentational device (Flusser, 1985; Rouillé, 2009) toward a relational and political ges-ture (Azoulay, 2024; Reis Filho, 2013, 2017, 2019; Sequeira, 2013), emphasizing its aes-thetic, ethical, and political dimensions in the use of the photographic apparatus. To this end, the research developed a photographic constellation (Souto, 2020, 2025), through which the photographic essays were comparatively analyzed, taking into account both the contexts in which the photographic gestures were produced and the ways these perspectives engage with the territory of Goiabeiras. This process made it possible to identify the insurgency of bodies that inhabit, narrate, and lay claim to the territory (Mei-rinho, 2025; Mirzoeff, 2016; Certeau, 1998; Didi-Huberman, 2011, 2012), thereby propo-sing alternative ways of seeing the community. The findings reveal the emergence of three modes of visual, aesthetic, ethical, and political insurgency: the residual body, the identity body, and the memory body. Together, these modes demonstrate photography's potential as a space for coexistence, sharing, and the political reinvention of vision.

      <title>Prática e consumo de caça em uma comunidade indígena do Rio Grande do Norte</title>
      <link>http://repositorio.ufc.br/handle/riufc/87490</link>
      <description>Título: Prática e consumo de caça em uma comunidade indígena do Rio Grande do Norte
Autor(es): Frota, Leandro Flávio Restrepo
Abstract: This dissertation analyzes the hunting practices and the consumption of game meat inside the&#xD;
Mendonça do Amarelão Indigenous community, located in the state of Rio Grande do Norte,&#xD;
Brazil. The research approaches the hunting not only as a mean of subsistence, but as an essential component of the community’s culture, identity, and social organization. The study&#xD;
seeks to understand how this ancient practice remains alive in the present day, examining its&#xD;
social, cultural, economic, and environmental dimensions. The central objective is to understand and discuss the practice of hunting and the consumption of wild animals, highlighting&#xD;
their importance for food security, cultural reproduction, and the ethnic identity of the group.&#xD;
The investigation adopts a qualitative and ethnographic approach, employing participant observation, semi-structured interviews with hunters and their families, as well as photographic&#xD;
documentation of hunting activities and food preparation. The data analysis is grounded in a&#xD;
dialogue between traditional knowledge and academic literature, drawing upon the Anthropology of Food which interprets hunting as a total social fact Geertz’s (1975) Ethnography and&#xD;
Thick Description, which allow for the interpretation of cultural meanings, Bourdieu’s (1980)&#xD;
Theory of Habitus, applied to the incorporation and transmission of knowledge, and studies&#xD;
on Indigenous Peoples and Territoriality, which situate hunting within the struggles for recognition and land demarcation. The results indicate that hunting in Amarelão is a living and multifaceted practice, essential for both food security and the affirmation of cultural identity. The&#xD;
techniques and knowledge employed, such as facheio (ambush) and the use of traps, demonstrate deep ecological understanding and sensitive observation of the environment. Learning&#xD;
these techniques begins in childhood, through the use of slingshots, sickles, and handmade&#xD;
shotguns, constituting a rite of passage. The game meat serves as an important source of protein, and the act of hunting, preparing, and sharing food, strengthens social and family bonds.&#xD;
An ethic of environmental management is also observed, expressed in the care to avoid the&#xD;
hunting of pregnant females and young animals. Nevertheless, the practice faces tensions with&#xD;
environmental legislation, which seldom recognizes Indigenous cultural specificities. It is&#xD;
concluded that hunting in Amarelão constitutes an intangible cultural heritage of great relevance, whose appreciation is essential for the preservation of traditional knowledge and the&#xD;
strengthening of public policies that promote intercultural dialogue and biodiversity conservation.

      <title>A moda é feminina?: gênero e trabalho na criação de moda cearense</title>

Abstract: This dissertation investigated how the patriarchal system influences the gender dramas experienced by fashion designers from Ceará throughout their work history, relying on the binomial of communication and work (Figaro, 2009a; 2009b; 2010) and the postulates of Ergology, especially the concept of dramas of self-use by oneself and by others (Schwartz, 2010; 2014). The work, of a transdisciplinary nature, proved to be novel both in the field of communication and work studies and in the area of fashion, especially due to its key focuses and concepts, which justifies its importance and scientific contribution. To this end, theories from various fields of knowledge were employed, such as Communication and Fashion (Calanca, 2011; Crane, 2013; Stokes, 2015), in addition to gender studies (Biroli, 2018; Federici, 2017; 2019; Lerner, 2019; Beauvoir, 2019b). The method used in this research, in turn, was dialectical, in line with the studies and theories invoked here. Regarding the methodology, we used semi-structured interviews with 5 independent fashion designers from Ceará, which allowed us to verify, through the analytical tool indicated, the Dynamic Three-Pole Device (DD3P) (Schwartz, 2010), the gender dramas present in their work histories. Thus, we verified that the female creators of independent fashion from Ceará are affected by gender dramas in various contexts of their work histories, intensified to a greater or lesser degree by aspects such as 'class', 'race', and 'territory/origin'. The aspect of 'gender', investigated in this research, was an important factor in identifying the dramas experienced by the interviewees in their professional trajectories, but it did not prove sufficient to encompass the adversities narrated by them. Thus, we found that the relationships and, therefore, the gender dramas in fashion creation cannot be fully understood without delving primarily into issues of class, which opens space for future studies in the field of fashion.

      <title>O trabalho conceitual na filosofia analítica: dos limites da análise conceitual até a necessidade da engenharia conceitual</title>

      <description>Título: O trabalho conceitual na filosofia analítica: dos limites da análise conceitual até a necessidade da engenharia conceitual

Abstract: This dissertation is situated within the field of metaphilosophy, that is, the area that deals with&#xD;
the philosophical foundations of philosophy itself. This field encompasses a series of&#xD;
questions and positions, making it impossible to address them all within the scope of a single&#xD;
dissertation. Due to this time and context limitation, I will dedicate myself here to presenting,&#xD;
commenting on, and critiquing a specific philosophical practice: conceptual analysis, which&#xD;
has become central to the analytic tradition of philosophy. Although I need to address the&#xD;
question “What is conceptual analysis?”, doing so serves primarily as a step toward a more&#xD;
central question of this text: “Is conceptual analysis sufficient for philosophy?”. Throughout&#xD;
the dissertation, I present an account of conceptual analysis by comparing it with other&#xD;
projects in metaphilosophy and by distinguishing it from non-conceptualist and other&#xD;
conceptualist approaches. I also list the elements that constitute conceptual analysis, including&#xD;
its interests, object, practice, and methodology. Despite adopting a stance that is favorable to&#xD;
analysis, I examine how two recent movements in the history of analytic philosophy,&#xD;
experimental philosophy and conceptual genealogy, present themselves as alternatives to&#xD;
conceptual analysis and articulate critiques of it. What I aim to show is that developments in&#xD;
these two projects indicate that conceptual analysis has been conducted in a way that&#xD;
overlooks the real diversity of conceptual schemes and the extent to which these schemes are&#xD;
directly connected to our ways of living and to our capacity to achieve diverse ends, whether&#xD;
moral or epistemic. Thus, I intend to show that the cultural and pragmatic aspects of language&#xD;
reveal that the use of our concepts is matter of a choice, and therefore we require a project that&#xD;
is capable of evaluating whether the already existing concepts are adequate for the ends we&#xD;
wish to achieve, as well as of creating new concepts when those available are not compatible&#xD;
with our aims. This philosophical project, which I consider deeply necessary, already has a&#xD;
name in the current literature: "conceptual engineering". With this dissertation, I intend to&#xD;
argue that conceptual engineering can be used to complement conceptual analysis and to&#xD;
construct a pluralistic and integrated perspective on conceptual work in philosophy.
