Abstract: The differences in survival and reproductive success of individuals in a population are shaped by natural selection. Individuals may differ, among other factors, on the individual behavior, which generally assumed to be flexible. Individuals may exhibit limited consistent behavioral plasticity which is consistent with time and different contexts (Personality). These behavioral traits can influence the survival and reproductive success. The present study examined the influence of the following behavioral dimensions: aggression, activity, exploration and daring on the reproductive success of primitive eusocial wasps, Mischocyttarus nomurae. Tests were performed to measure the behaviors for the four dimensions. To assess reproductive success (SR) it was measured the number of eggs (SR - I), larvae (SR - II) and pupae (SR - III). However, reproductive success was influenced by behavioral flexibility. The SR - I was influenced by the flexibility in activity and exploitation. The SR - II was influenced by the flexibility of aggression and exploitation. And the SR - III was influenced by flexibility in activity. Flexibility in aggressiveness relationship between reproductive success may be related to the usurpation of nests by conspecifics. Similarly, flexibility in activity and exploitation, can be linked to the maintenance of nests and exploring new environments, respectively. So personalities in aggressiveness and boldness do not influence the reproductive success of primitive eussocias wasps. However, behavioral flexibility in aggressiveness, activity and exploitation in primitive eusocial wasps has effect on reproductive success.

      <title>Educação para as sexualidades: análise de uma sequência didática fundamentada nas metodologias ativas e na aprendizagem significativa</title>

Abstract: exuality education can be carried out at home by parents or guardians, in schools, or in other educational contexts such as health clinics and community organizations. It is important that sexuality education be based on facts appropriate to the age and cognitive development of individuals. Thus, we argue that collaboration, teamwork, and the active participation of students are central elements for promoting meaningful sexuality education, favoring the development of critical/reflective, scientific, autonomous, and creative thinking. In this context, this research aims to evaluate the contributions of a teaching sequence (SD) using active methodologies on sexuality education to the scientific, critical, reflective, and creative training of female students in a vocational school in Caucaia, Ceará. Furthermore, it aims to identify active teaching and learning strategies with the potential to contribute to the promotion of sexuality education; analyze the students' perceptions after the implementation of the SD; and outline contributions to the teaching of sexuality education in schools. This research is characterized as participatory research, involving the active participation of approximately 30 students in the construction, execution, and evaluation of a didactic sequence during an elective course entitled Women's Health, with the aim of stimulating student protagonism and promoting meaningful learning about sexuality education. It employs a qualitative approach to allow for a broader analysis and enable a better interpretation of the collected data, strengthening contributions to the field of sexuality education. Regarding data collection instruments, semi-structured questionnaires were used; in addition, other information was obtained during each stage of the sequence's development through student participation in discussions and activities such as the creation of fanzines and the production of drawings. Based on this data, content analysis was performed based on Bardin (2020) and Franco (2021), along with moments of reflective evaluation and another analysis through the comparison of the results obtained in the diagnostic and final instruments. The results showed significant progress in the students' conceptual understanding of topics related to sexuality education, as well as in broadening their critical perceptions of the body, sexual health, gender relations, and women's rights. We also observed the students' involvement and participation throughout all stages, actively contributing with their prior knowledge and observations, indicating that the teaching sequence contributed to the construction of meaningful learning. We conclude that the use of a teaching sequence based on active methodologies constitutes a powerful pedagogical strategy for sexuality education, especially when considering the needs, experiences, and protagonism of the students, expanding the possibilities for a scientific, civic, critical, creative, and reflective&#xD;
education.

Abstract: Latex is a complex fluid enriched in hydrolytic enzymes, such as proteases and chitinases;&#xD;
however, the occurrence and role of peroxidases in this material remain poorly&#xD;
understood. Peroxidases (EC 1.11.1.7) are widely distributed across biological systems&#xD;
due to their involvement in numerous physiological processes. These enzymes are&#xD;
classified as heme and non-heme peroxidases, with heme-containing peroxidases&#xD;
accounting for approximately 84% of all described peroxidases, according to the&#xD;
RedOxiBase database. Among them, class III plant peroxidases constitute a large&#xD;
multigene family of heme-dependent enzymes that share a similar three-dimensional&#xD;
structure and a common catalytic mechanism for hydrogen peroxide degradation. They&#xD;
are involved in the metabolism of reactive oxygen species (ROS), hormone synthesis and&#xD;
degradation, fruit growth, defense responses, and cell wall synthesis and maintenance. In&#xD;
this context, we report the purification and structural characterization of an atypical&#xD;
peroxidase (CpLP-POX) isolated from the latex of C. procera. Initial analyses revealed a&#xD;
high-molecular-weight enzyme (~112 kDa) that dissociated into ~35 kDa subunits under&#xD;
denaturing conditions, suggesting a trimeric organization. Structural modeling&#xD;
corroborated the homotrimeric assembly of the protein. The CpLP-POX monomers&#xD;
exhibited a conserved catalytic triad (Arg–His–Asn), four disulfide bonds, and the overall&#xD;
fold characteristic of class III plant peroxidases. The enzyme displayed maximal activity&#xD;
at pH 6.0 and 40 °C and was inhibited by EDTA, sodium azide, and thiol-reducing agents,&#xD;
consistent with the profile of Ca2+-associated heme-dependent peroxidases. CpLP-POX&#xD;
did not exhibit inhibitory effects on nematode egg hatching, suggesting that its&#xD;
physiological role may be more closely related to oxidative defense or protection against&#xD;
microbial invasion. Collectively, these findings provide the first biochemical and&#xD;
structural evidence of a trimeric peroxidase in plants, expanding the known structural&#xD;
diversity of this enzyme class and contributing to a deeper understanding of its biological&#xD;
functions.

Abstract: This work aims to study composition operators on the space of measurable functions, in which we will consider the characterization of hypercyclic and topological mixing composition operators obtained by Bayart, Darji, and Pires in 2018. We will show that hypercyclic and weak mixing composition operators coincide in this context. Furthermore, we provide a characterization for composition operators satisfying Kitai’s Criterion in invertible measurable systems and use this characterization to show that there exists a topological mixing composition operator that does not satisfy Kitai’s Criterion.
