Abstract: This study about “The humanistic of Law in legal education: a study about the Law&#xD;
Degree Program of Universidade Federal do Ceará” is a research of the post&#xD;
doctorate in Education by the Universidade Federal do Ceará, in the Law course in&#xD;
the same institution. It focuses on the pedagogical and humanistic formation of their&#xD;
students. The research had, as an objective, the construction of active methodologies&#xD;
and the implementation of new technologies on the student’s humanistic formation in&#xD;
the Law Degree Program of Universidade Federal do Ceará. The research, also,&#xD;
observes, in a specific manner, the course disciplines, methodologies that are being&#xD;
applied on the development of the humanist formation of their and the&#xD;
implementation of new technologies on the development. With this intention, It will&#xD;
analyses the curricular documentation, legislation and will work in a collaborative with&#xD;
different agents in the Law course with the objective with the objective of establish&#xD;
pedagogical, pointing data that will be useful for the improvement of the humanist&#xD;
formation of the students of Universidade Federal do Ceará. It has, as an objective,&#xD;
to establish the similarities and differences in the formation of the law students of&#xD;
Universidade Federal do Ceará in order to help with the implementation of a new&#xD;
didactic curriculum, new methodologies and new technologies, contributing more in&#xD;
the pedagogical formation of the students and professors. In the methodological&#xD;
procedures, a epistemological approach was used in the qualitative field,&#xD;
bibliography research and document research, interviews with professors,&#xD;
approaching questions related to the research with the objective of doing a&#xD;
comparing analysis of the methodologies being used in the classroom since the&#xD;
creation of the Law course of the Universidade Federal do Ceará, the academic&#xD;
curriculum that were implemented, the Pedagogical Political programs, the destined&#xD;
spaces to academic curriculum that involves contemporary relevant themes like&#xD;
inclusion, diversity, special education, multiculturalism and new technologies. The&#xD;
results point to the necessity of an improvement on the use of new active and&#xD;
didactical methodologies in classroom, with the use of new technologies,&#xD;
reformulating the Political and Pedagogical Program of the course, with the ends to&#xD;
guarantee a quality education, human with social rights secured for all society.
