      <title>Cadeias globais de valor e inserção da indústria brasileira no processo produtivo mundial</title>
      <link>http://repositorio.ufc.br/handle/riufc/86893</link>
      <description>Título: Cadeias globais de valor e inserção da indústria brasileira no processo produtivo mundial
Autor(es): Maia, João Victor Cordeiro
Abstract: The present study aims to analyze the integration of the Brazilian economy into Global Value&#xD;
Chains (GVCs) in light of the new global production configuration, considering its added&#xD;
value and technological intensity. Globalization and the advancement of capitalism have&#xD;
transformed the dynamics of production chains, making the interconnection between countries&#xD;
and companies essential for economic development. GVCs encompass a complex global&#xD;
network of companies and subsidiaries that cooperate in various stages of production, from&#xD;
logistics to research and development. However, recent events, such as the war in Ukraine and&#xD;
the Covid-19 pandemic, have exposed vulnerabilities in GVCs, highlighting the need for&#xD;
adaptation and resilience. The research focuses on the strategies that companies and&#xD;
governments have adopted to face unpredictable challenges and ensure operational continuity.&#xD;
In the Brazilian context, the role of the country as a commodity supplier and its potential to&#xD;
advance in the global production chain is discussed. Using a qualitative and exploratory&#xD;
approach, the research combines bibliographic and documentary review to provide a deep&#xD;
understanding of global dynamics and the competitiveness of Brazilian industry. The&#xD;
conclusions emphasize the importance of public industrial policies that promote the&#xD;
strengthening and innovation of the national industry in the international arena.

      <description>Título: Análise do perfil do investidor dos alunos da Feaac
Autor(es): Verde, André Carvalho Lima
Abstract: This study aims to understand the investor profile of students at the Faculty of Economics,&#xD;
Administration, Actuarials, Accounting (FEAAC) at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC),&#xD;
focusing on describing what their behaviors, characteristics, risk aversion and market&#xD;
knowledge are. financial. By analyzing the behavior of these students, it was possible to&#xD;
classify them into three different profiles: a conservative, moderate or bold profile. For this&#xD;
work, a descriptive research with a quantitative approach was carried out, using the survey&#xD;
methodology. At the end of the study, after analyzing 106 responses to the applied test, it was&#xD;
found that the predominant investor profile at FEAAC is the moderate profile, which values&#xD;
security, but exposes itself to certain risks. It was also found that, depending on the&#xD;
undergraduate course, students had a different investor profile. Economics students had the&#xD;
most daring behavior in relation to other courses and finance students had a more&#xD;
conservative profile.

      <description>Título: Utilização de nudges em políticas públicas: estudo bibliométrico
Autor(es): Coelho, Lídia Kelly Pereira
Abstract: The general objective of the work is to investigate the state of the art of scientific production&#xD;
on nudges in the public policy context. Using the CAPES periodical portal, it was possible to&#xD;
study articles that portray cases and proposals that have been applied around the world, whether&#xD;
in Brazil or other countries, through a bibliographical review with the aim of understanding the&#xD;
state of the art that scientific production has at the moment. on the use of nudges in public&#xD;
policies, with the aim of leading the government to carry out policies that not only help the&#xD;
population to have a healthier lifestyle in a subtle way without using many resources or&#xD;
unnecessary force, but also improves their effectiveness.

      <title>O efeito do Cartão Mais Infância Ceará na vacinação infantil</title>
      <link>http://repositorio.ufc.br/handle/riufc/86817</link>
      <description>Título: O efeito do Cartão Mais Infância Ceará na vacinação infantil
Autor(es): França, Emília Souza Marques
Abstract: This study evaluates the impact of Cartão Mais Infância Ceará (CMIC), a state conditional&#xD;
cash transfer program, on childhood vaccination coverage in the municipalities of Ceará. The&#xD;
study investigated whether financial incentives coupled with intersectoral monitoring are&#xD;
effective in increasing vaccination rates during early childhood. To this end, a panel dataset&#xD;
covering the period from 2015 to 2022 was constructed, utilizing an identification strategy&#xD;
that compares municipalities in Ceará with their border neighbors in the states of Piauí, Rio&#xD;
Grande do Norte, Paraíba, and Pernambuco. The empirical strategy consisted of estimating&#xD;
Two-Way Fixed Effects models, controlling for socioeconomic and health infrastructure&#xD;
variables. The results evidence that the CMIC has a positive and statistically significant&#xD;
impact on vaccines administered at birth and on doses administered after the first year of life.&#xD;
However, the effect proved to be heterogeneous, with no robust evidence of impact found for&#xD;
vaccines administered during the first six months of life. Furthermore, a counterintuitive&#xD;
decline was observed for Meningococcal C and Pneumococcal booster shots, suggesting the&#xD;
existence of non-financial barriers.
