Mapping processes is one of the management tools that has matured in recent years and has been consolidating as something desired and used by the institutions. Through it, the information flow of tasks and their responsibilities can be obtained clearly, bottlenecks are detected to correct them, and documentation can be easily and easily generated. Business Process Model and Notation - BPMN (Business Process Modeling and Notation) is a notation of the various types of process management methodology, which uses icons for process design and facilitates understanding. This work has the objective of mapping the processes of the activities of a division of university portals of a public university. The concepts involved in the mapping of processes through the bibliographic reference will be presented and, finally, the proof of the efficiency gain (among other benefits) after applying the BPMN methodology. The application of the questionnaire aimed to elucidate the process of appropriation of the determinants of law 10.340 / 2015 by the traditional circus community regarding the understanding of solid waste treatment. It was possible to observe the deficit of the circus population in relation to the knowledge about solid waste, in addition to a still inexpressive action of the State on education and promotion of these policies for circus populations. Thus, it is suggested proposals to promote a more robust environmental education and the importance of the correct destination of these solid wastes, as well as follow up of these actions and subsequent similar researches to be carried out during the term of execution of the aforementioned law, with the purpose of circumventing this reality and making effective the participation of these agents as active participants in the construction of citizenship. In the history of human evolution the way of each worker understood the company and his role as a partner, promotes changes in production ways, working conditions and in the organizational environment. This was the starting for research on quality of work life (QWL) and what hás already been written about QWL, brings the concept of QWL, as well the multiple Theories of Motivation under the Worker´s perception. Questionnaires were applied to Tecnologia em Gestão da Qualidade (TGQ) students, who are public or private sector workers and a comparison was drawn using the Walton´s QWL. It was analyzed how these individuals perceive QWL considering their different work environments, what role the work plays in their lives off work and how QWL influences their students performance. It has been understood that workplaces in a private enterprise and in a public institutions may differ in levels of productivity stress and disputes by position or departaments, but also may show similarities as the thought that their working hours exhaust the forces that favor the study. It is considered that research is relevant for students and professors as a tool that can identify deficiences and new demands that arise during academy activities for continuous improvement and consolidation of the TGQ course as a qualification to the people both internal and external of the university.
