Abstract: Software Quality (SQ) is a fundamental element for the development of reliable, efficient systems aligned with market demands, and is a relevant component in the training of Information Technology (IT) professionals. This study analyzed how the approach to SQ in undergraduate studies influences the selfconfidence of computer science graduates, considering its implications for professional performance and the application of good software development practices. The research was descriptive, with a quantitative approach, using an online questionnaire applied to professionals with IT degrees. The results revealed gaps in academic training related to course load, the integration of SQ content throughout the curriculum, and the predominance of a theoretical approach (53.3%), while 20% of respondents reported having no content on SQ during their undergraduate studies. In the professional context, these gaps negatively impact the reduction of failures, the reliability of systems, and the self-confidence of professionals. It is concluded that greater curricular integration and emphasis on practical activities strengthen QS in undergraduate studies, contributing to the training of more confident, technically prepared professionals capable of delivering higher quality software products, as evidenced by the fact that 76.7% of professionals currently consider themselves to have high or very high confidence when applying QS practices in their work.

<title>Código, pressão e burnout: a síndrome de burnout no ambiente de desenvolvimento de software</title>

<description>Título: Código, pressão e burnout: a síndrome de burnout no ambiente de desenvolvimento de software
Autor(es): Melo Filho, Carlos Aldrim Freire
Abstract: This article analyzes the factors that contribute to the occurrence of Burnout Syndrome among software developers, considering organizational, professional, and psychosocial factors that impact mental health in the IT environment. The research adopted a descriptive, applied, and mixed-methods approach, with data collected through an online questionnaire applied to 70 professionals in the field, including both closed and open questions on sociodemographic profile, working conditions, Burnout dimensions, and coping strategies. The results reveal a high prevalence of emotional exhaustion, moderate depersonalization, and reduced professional accomplishment, associated with task overload, tight deadlines, extended working hours, and lack of recognition. The analysis indicates that productivity pressure, a high-competition culture, and imbalance between personal and professional life are central factors in the development of Burnout. Coping strategies suggested by participants include flexible working hours, realistic deadline planning, task redistribution, clear communication, professional recognition, and leadership training. It is concluded that preventing Burnout Syndrome requires structural organizational actions combined with individual measures, contributing to healthier, sustainable, and more humanized work environments in the context of software development.

<title>Carcará: sistema para integração de dados meteorológicos e hidrológicos no semiárido brasileiro</title>

Abstract: The Brazilian Semi-Arid region requires integrated access to meteorological and hydrological data to support environmental analyses and agricultural decision-making; however, this information is fragmented across multiple sources, with heterogeneous formats and low standardization. This work proposes Carcará, a system aimed at the automatic integration of data from sources such as INMET, ANA, and ERA5, covering data collection, standardization, storage, and availability. The solution is structured as an Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipeline composed of ingestion, messaging, a data lake, transformation, and loading into a data warehouse, orchestrated by a workflow manager. The system prioritizes scalability, traceability, and governance, enabling the consolidation of large data volumes with updates as they become available in the source repositories. As a result, an integrated dataset with 17,472 hourly records (192 timestamps) was generated, covering 44 municipalities, 8 states, and 91 reservoirs, with temporal alignment via a D−6 window (ERA5 lag); within the analyzed period, ERA5 achieved full coverage, ANA provided level/volume data for 58/91 reservoirs (63.7% of records), and INMET was the main completeness bottleneck (data for 20/44 municipalities and at least one meteorological field filled in 39.6% of records), validating end-to-end execution under real operational constraints; finally, the demonstrated applications include analyses of evaporative demand (RH vs. VPD), comparison of RH by state, drivers of PEV (SSRD, VPD, t2m, and WS), and the relationship between PEV and observed humidity, among others.

<description>Título: Implantação de recursos de acessibilidade web no observatório de dados abertos dos sertões de Crateús

Abstract: The WEB accessibility guidelines aim to assist and help developers and programmers in building WEB sites accessible to all, accessibility that is neglected for part of the population in the digital environment. A very important guideline that is still a reference today is the WCAG, and since its emergence, other guidelines have been created based on WCAG, such as e-MAG and NBR 17225:2025. In this scenario of multiple guidelines and which ones could be applied, a parity was found between the WCAG and NBR 17225:2025 guidelines. Considering the situation of web accessibility in the municipal portals of the Sertões de Crateús region and noting that such portals have accessibility problems, this work proposed the application of accessibility resources in the Open Data Observatory of the Sertões de Crateús. As a result, the observatory portal was redesigned and a new accessibility analysis was carried out, where the levels, depending on the tool, either decreased or increased.
