The objective was to analyze the effectiveness of financial education in childhood in preparing young people to manage their finances consciously, reducing debt and improving the quality of economic life. The exploratory research used a bibliographic review and documentary analysis of studies and public policies on financial education. An analysis indicated that a lack of financial education contributes to inappropriate behavior and individualization. The inclusion of financial education in schools, with support from families, proved to be essential for effective financial management. The use of interactive methods and personalized programs was identified as effective. It is concluded that financial education is crucial to forming responsible and conscious individuals, with a positive impact on the family context and reducing debt. This research analyzed the behavior of micro-enterprises in Brazil in the face of the health crisis caused by COVID-19 over the period from May 2020 to December 2022, carrying out an analysis and considering the years prior to the pandemic, that is, 2018 and 2019. In this study, the significant impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the global context was investigated, with a special focus on the specific implications for Brazil. The alarming data from the Brazilian government's healthcare system not only highlights the magnitude of the human tragedy, but also highlights the urgent need for effective responses. By analyzing the behavior of micro-enterprises, the reduction of employees and the adaptation of non-essential services, our objective is to understand the strategies adopted to face this unprecedented crisis. The research used an investigative and inductive methodology, supported by secondary data from SEBRAE, IBGE and the Federal Government. Therefore, this paper aims to analyze the impact of cash transfer programs on poverty reduction during the COVID-19 health crisis in Brazil. It should be noted that Brazil has faced a public health crisis that has significantly affected the income and employment of many citizens, so cash transfer programs have played a key role in mitigating the economic impacts of the pandemic. The methodology consists of a qualitative bibliographic research design, of the Integrative Literature Review type, of an exploratory nature. The search platforms Google Scholar, Lilacs and the CAPES Journal Portal were used. The theoretical basis was centered on 10 articles from the period between 2020 and 2023. Regarding the results, Emergency Aid, in particular, proved to be an effective instrument to mitigate the adverse economic effects of the pandemic, raising millions of Brazilians temporarily above the poverty line. In short, this research has provided an analytical overview of the impacts of cash transfer programs on poverty during the COVID-19 health crisis in Brazil.
