Abstract: Silent abandonment refers to the behavior of consciously limiting the efforts undertaken by the worker in the execution of work activity. It is a phenomenon that has been the subject of academic study and is of interest to managers, since it has been more easily recognized and found in the world of work. This study aims to analyze the perceptions of tenured public servants regarding silent abandonment in the work context. The research adopts a qualitative approach, of an exploratory and descriptive nature, using semi-structured interviews, with a script developed based on the Cognitive-Reflective Approach (CRA) proposed by Pinho and Silva (2025). Seventeen tenured public servants from different career paths participated in the research, accessed through the snowball sampling technique. For the treatment and analysis of the collected data, the Thematic Analysis methodology suggested by Braun and Clarke (2006) was used. The study's results indicate a recognition of silent abandonment within the public sector, identifying behaviors that demonstrate restricted and low commitment, stemming from personal decisions by individuals within this segment's workforce. Regarding the main characterizing elements, based on the collected data, the phenomenon manifests itself through attitudes of detachment and a lack of initiative. The study's findings indicate that its occurrence is especially related to the existence of managers who are distant and disconnected from their teams; to the perception of tolerance for this practice as an expression of ineffective performance management; to the desire to protect the personal lives of employees from the work-related overload and stress; and to the perception of the relevance of political influence to human resource management processes, rather than employee training or engagement. This research contributes to filling an existing gap in international and national academic production, especially by confirming some of the characteristics already pointed out in the literature; deepening the understanding of some of the factors surrounding the phenomenon; not corroborating the actions of others; and identifying the emergence of a new element in this relationship, possibly verified by the specific context of the research. The results ultimately indicate that silent abandonment is a reality in the public administration workforce and, as such, needs to be the subject of study and intervention by those who manage human resources in the sector.

    <title>Efeito da educação financeira e dos vieses comportamentais na percepção dos bancários sobre a oferta de produtos</title>

Abstract: The transformations in the financial system, increasing competition among financial institutions, and growing pressure for performance in the banking sector have heightened the need for employee qualification, particularly regarding financial education and the understanding of behavioral factors that influence economic decision-making. This study investigated the effects of financial education and behavioral biases on bank employees’ perceptions regarding the offering of financial products. The research was conducted in a large financial institution with both national and international operations and was limited to branches located in Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil. The institution comprises 31 service units and 469 employees in the municipality. Financial products and customer segments follow standardized institutional guidelines throughout the organization’s area of operation, ensuring comparability among the analyzed units. The study is characterized as exploratory and descriptive, adopting a quantitative approach through a survey method. Data were collected using a semi-structured questionnaire administered via Google Forms, employing a five-point Likert scale. The instrument was structured into three dimensions: socioeconomic profile and financial education; behavioral biases and the agents that trigger such biases; and perceptions regarding the offering of financial products. The final sample consisted of 104 valid respondents. The results indicated that bank employees possess a satisfactory level of financial literacy. Mental accounting and loss aversion were found to operate predominantly at a subconscious level among the respondents. Persuasion principles such as reciprocity, liking, and scarcity were actively employed during the negotiation process, potentially enhancing the activation of behavioral biases among customers. However, the statistical correlations observed were weak, with no significant association between financial education and the use of behavioral biases in the offering of financial products. The findings suggest that the interaction between financial education and behavioral factors broadens the understanding of financial product offerings within the banking context, indicating that technical knowledge alone does not constrain the influence of behavioral aspects on commercial offerings. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of the role of bank employees in financial decision-making dynamics and product offerings. By integrating financial education, behavioral biases, and persuasion mechanisms, it provides a theoretical framework for modeling these interactions and suggests avenues for future research in different institutional settings. The findings also have implications for employee training, the quality of customer communication, and the promotion of more informed financial decision-making.

Abstract: In the banking sector, the development of female leadership has faced challenges &#xD;
stemming from gender inequalities manifested through organizational, cultural, and &#xD;
symbolic barriers, limiting access, retention, and the consolidation of women's &#xD;
professional careers. In this sense, this research aims to examine the inclusion policies &#xD;
and practices implemented by Banco do Nordeste do Brasil and their effects on the &#xD;
career paths of female leaders and their professional advancement. The research is &#xD;
exploratory in nature, employing documentary procedures and field research, and a &#xD;
qualitative approach. Data were collected through secondary sources (institutional &#xD;
documents) and primary sources (conducting a focus group with women in &#xD;
management positions). The data were analyzed using the content analysis method &#xD;
proposed by Bardin. The results show that, although there are advances in diversity &#xD;
and inclusion policies, organizational and cultural barriers persist that hinder women's &#xD;
access, retention, and growth in strategic positions, especially those related to &#xD;
organizational culture, work-life balance, and the recognition of female leadership. As &#xD;
a main contribution, this study broadens the understanding of the effectiveness of &#xD;
gender equity policies in organizations and offers support for improving institutional &#xD;
practices aimed at inclusion and equal opportunities in the banking sector.

Abstract: In a scenario where the creative economy, driven by micro and small cultural production &#xD;
enterprises (MMEs), plays a crucial role in economic development and in generating &#xD;
employment and income, this research investigates financial management in MMEs of cultural &#xD;
production in the state of Ceará. The study aims to diagnose the profile of financial management &#xD;
in cultural production MMEs in Ceará, with the goal of providing evidence for the formulation &#xD;
of solutions that promote their sustainability and growth in this organizational environment. &#xD;
Thus, the general objective of the research is to analyze the relationship between the profile of &#xD;
the companies, their managers, and the financial management practices adopted in cultural &#xD;
production MMEs in Ceará. To achieve this comprehensive objective, the research unfolds into &#xD;
specific objectives that aim to: 1. describe the profile of cultural production MMEs in Ceará; 2. &#xD;
outline the profile of financial managers; 3. describe the profile of financial management &#xD;
practiced in these companies. To this end, the descriptive research employs a quantitative &#xD;
approach, and primary data collection was carried out through a structured questionnaire with &#xD;
41 questions. The questionnaire was administered between July 11 and September 19, 2025, to &#xD;
cultural producers registered in the Cultural Map of the State of Ceará, and 296 valid responses &#xD;
were obtained. To achieve the proposed objectives, the quantitative data were analyzed using &#xD;
statistical techniques such as descriptive analysis, mean difference test, cluster analysis, and &#xD;
regression analysis, with the support of SPSS software. The results indicate a diverse cultural &#xD;
ecosystem: half of the MMEs operate in Integrated Arts, Audiovisual, Culture and Education, &#xD;
Popular Culture, Music, Cultural Production and Management, and Theater. The majority have &#xD;
an annual revenue of up to R$ 81,000.00, characterizing a predominantly micro-entrepreneurial &#xD;
profile, with 34.80% operating at a loss. There is low adherence to financial training and &#xD;
consulting; however, qualification in projects increases access to public resources. Managers &#xD;
are predominantly male and highly educated (77.71% with higher education/postgraduate &#xD;
degrees), but 65.20% lack specific financial training, with 73.65% being owner-partners &#xD;
accumulating functions and most having up to five years of experience in the area. There is a &#xD;
high perception of the importance of financial management (82.4%), but practices prove to be &#xD;
inconsistent. Basic tools (accounts payable/receivable, cash flow, financial separation) are &#xD;
widely used. There is fragility in strategic tools (budgeting, planning, balance sheet, income &#xD;
statement, indicators); spreadsheets or no software prevail. Among the identified difficulties, &#xD;
the lack of resources for tools and the absence of strategic/financial planning stand out. &#xD;
Statistical analyses reveal that the company's operating time and the manager's schooling &#xD;
(postgraduate degree) are positively associated with greater cash flow control and financial &#xD;
planning, although working capital does not show significant differences in these relationships. &#xD;
Regression analysis points to profit differentiation, cash flow control, and resource separation &#xD;
as key predictors for better working capital management. Cluster analysis identified two groups: &#xD;
a structured one (qualified managers, higher revenue, better practices) and a less &#xD;
professionalized one (lower stability, less adherence to tools). It is concluded that the &#xD;
professionalization of financial management, driven by managerial training and business &#xD;
maturity, is crucial for the sustainability and success of cultural production MMEs in Ceará.
