Abstract: This study analyzes usability and user experience in digital banking applications through the integrated application of Human–Computer Interaction methods, using the Caixa Tem application as a case study. The investigation is motivated by the widespread adoption of the platform in the context of public policies and by the mismatch identified between its social relevance and the levels of satisfaction perceived by users. The research adopts a qualitative approach, complemented by quantitative data, structured in sequential and integrated stages. Initially, a desk research was conducted to contextualize Caixa Tem within the digital banking application ecosystem. Subsequently, the MALTU methodology was applied to analyze spontaneous user comments published on the Google Play Store, enabling the identification of recurring interaction problems based on natural language. Afterwards, a heuristic evaluation was carried out by specialists, based on heuristics adapted for mobile applications, with the purpose of identifying usability violations and classifying them according to their severity level. Additionally, usability tests were conducted with real users, high school students who are beneficiaries of public policies, in which performance, error occurrence, and task comprehension were evaluated, both in lowf idelity wireframes and in medium-fidelity prototypes. The evaluation was complemented by the application of the System Usability Scale and the User Experience Questionnaire, allowing the analysis of subjective perceptions of the user experience. The results showed a predominance of negative manifestations related to efficiency, effectiveness, support, and security, as well as the identification of high-severity interface problems. Furthermore, the proposed redesign contributed significantly to reducing task execution time, decreasing errors, and substantially increasing usability and perceived experience scores. It is concluded that the integrated application of Human–Computer Interaction methods proved effective in identifying systemic usability problems and in supporting the proposition of design improvements in digital systems of high social relevance, fostering more efficient, intuitive, and reliable experiences.

Abstract: The widespread adoption of the Internet of Things (IoT) has expanded the attack surface of computer networks, making security a central challenge in this ecosystem. Machine learning–based
intrusion detection systems have shown promising results; however, centralized approaches
require the transfer of sensitive data, raising concerns related to privacy and compliance with
regulations such as the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD). In this context, Federated
Learning emerges as an alternative by enabling collaborative model training without sharing
raw data. This work evaluates the feasibility and performance of a Federated Learning–based
Intrusion Detection System applied to IoT networks, considering realistic scenarios with severely
imbalanced and non-independent and identically distributed (Non-IID) data. Experiments were
conducted using the CICIoT2023 dataset and a deep neural network architecture optimized for
federated environments, implemented with the Flower framework and the FedProx aggregation
strategy. The results indicate that the federated model achieved a global accuracy of 82.80%
and a macro F1-score of 81.20%, demonstrating competitive performance while preserving data
privacy and ensuring feasibility for deployment on resource-constrained edge devices.

Abstract: Requirements Engineering (RE) plays a fundamental role in the success of software development, although it faces complex challenges in practical and collaborative learning environments. At the "Núcleo de Práticas de Informática (NPI)"of the Federal University of Ceará (UFC)– Quixadá Campus, a qualitative diagnosis indicated that limited client participation constitutes a critical barrier to project quality. This work presents a proposal to improve the NPI’s requirements process, focusing on increasing client engagement. The adopted methodology comprised two stages: a qualitative diagnosis conducted through interviews with NPI members and analyzed through Thematic Analysis, and a Rapid Review (RR) of the literature in the Scopus database to map engagement practices. The results revealed the need for interventions in five areas: Management, Communication, Visual Support, Gamification, and Inclusion. The final proposal consolidates practices such as the implementation of Proxy Clients, the use of Iterative Prototyping, and the application of Gamification Strategies. It is concluded that these strategies can contribute to mitigating communication failures and strengthening the requirements process within the academic and professional context of the NPI.

Autor(es): Gama, Mariana Aparecida Hofer
Abstract: The constant global transformation of the digital age has led to continuous growth in the software development market, expanding the number of members in development teams and making the technical onboarding process a strategic factor to ensure the effective integration of new collaborators, maximizing knowledge transfer efficiency within a reduced period of time and minimizing what is consolidated in market terminology as “ramp-up.” This study aims to analyze how companies in the context of software development structure their technical onboarding processes. In this regard, the research adopts a qualitative multiple-case study approach based on companies of different sizes. Data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews with individuals responsible for or involved in the structuring of onboarding routines, combined with the analysis of artifacts used in these onboarding dynamics. The results reveal recurring patterns, gaps, and good practices, which served as guidance for the consolidation of a set of supporting guidelines for the design and improvement of technical onboarding routines, as well as for the proposal of a macro-process to guide the structuring of technical onboarding in software companies.
