Abstract: The chemistry is a science indispensable to our life, without her, meybe, life on our planet would not have developed as it develops today. It is present at every moment in daily life and this present work has stressed how is important the students know these moments that use or practice the chemistry, to better understand the contents of the classroom. So,we used literature searches and field, with qualitativeand quantitative approach, to know the students' opinion and teachers as the theme in question, applying two questionnaires:  one subjective directed the students to evaluate the definition  showing of what is the chemistry, where and when they-realize its importance, what methodologies used by teachers if there contextualization, and how to learn better or would like they were classes . The other questionnaire is goal directed at teachers, was order to evaluate, above from working shifts and the degree of training, if these use of the contextualization and methodologies, how often and what the most used, know too, through notes, the degree of satisfaction with the learning these provide. Thus on these research, observed how much students like and yearn for greater contextualization in the teaching process, exposing thus the actions that teachers should follow to achieve these goals, but for this, it was also that teachers need a little more time and a good education, so there is a good development methods. Finally, we intend to then share with these educators, the results, in prospect of a better education and building a more concrete learning and quality. Hence, the importance of contextualizing the teaching of chemistry or of other disciplines with daily life of the student, in scientific and intellectual training of these future citizens.
