Autor(es): Alves, Vitoria Beatriz Ferreira
Abstract: This paper aims to analyze the contribution of the Pedagogical Residency Program (PRP) to my professional development as a Geography student at the Federal University of Ceará. Based on practical experience at the Joaquim Albano State School of Professional Education (EEEP). To this end, I describe and analyze the use of theoretical and methodological procedures used in the experiences of scholarship holders, including myself, in the school environment, highlighting how the integration between theory and practice and the use of teaching resources influence the formation of teaching identity. The activities developed, such as participation in pedagogical events, planning and teaching multidisciplinary disciplines, proved to be fundamental to improving the pedagogical, methodological and reflective skills of future teachers. In addition, the study emphasizes the importance of the autonomy provided by the PRP, which allowed a prolonged immersion in the school environment, contributing to a more solid and integrated training. Through the analysis of pedagogical practices, it is concluded that the PRP was an indispensable tool for my professional training in the face of the challenges of contemporary education.

Autor(es): Lopes, Ernesto Barroso
Abstract: This work aims to present an academic memoir that reflects the author's journey throughout their Geography degree at the Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC), a path that spanned nearly nine years until the achievement of their diploma. The memoir seeks to narrate and analyze the challenges and lessons learned during this journey, highlighting how each experience contributed to their academic and professional development. The introduction contextualizes the concept of an academic memoir, emphasizing its importance as a tool for reflecting on the educational journey. Next, the text recounts the author's experiences from early education, covering their time in preschool, elementary, and high school, and how these periods influenced their worldview and interest in knowledge. Upon entering the Geography degree program—which was not initially their first choice—the author encountered a new academic and personal reality. Despite the inherent challenges of the course, the university experience brought significant learning opportunities, strengthening their resilience and broadening their understanding of Geography’s role in society. However, the journey was not linear, and difficult moments arose, particularly in the final stretch of the course, when health issues and the impacts of the pandemic posed additional obstacles. Despite these difficulties, the undergraduate experience was a period of growth and maturity, solidifying their calling to teaching. Upon completing this stage, the author reaffirms their commitment to working as a Geography teacher, eager to enter the classroom and contribute to the education of future students. Thus, this memoir not only narrates an academic journey but also reflects on the role of perseverance, adaptation to adversity, and passion for teaching in shaping a professional identity.

Abstract: The present descriptive memorial is based on my academic journey since joining the Geography Teaching course in the 2016.2 semester. Throughout my academic path, I have experienced various impactful events, particularly in projects aimed at traditional communities facing socio-economic vulnerabilities. Simultaneously, my participation in the Institutional Program of Scientific Initiation Scholarships (PIBIC) enabled me to conduct research on different environmental-related topics. These experiences have been pivotal for both my academic and personal growth. I also delve into geography teaching and how it has shaped me as a professional and as an individual. Therefore, this descriptive memorial encompasses my entire journey from university enrollment, through involvement in extension projects, scientific initiation, and internships, to my career change and relocation to another country, outlining the experiences and reflections that have shaped my development as a future Geography teacher.
