Abstract: This study examines the potential of digital marketing as a strategy for entrepreneurship in
information services aimed at professionals in Library and Information Science. In the
context of ongoing technological innovation and the increasing dynamics of the digital
environment, the need for information professionals to adapt to new market conditions
becomes evident, particularly using social media and digital platforms. The research
adopts a qualitative case study approach with exploratory and descriptive objectives,
focusing on Santa Biblioteconomia, an initiative that offers online courses for library
professionals. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire with open-ended
questions administered to the founder of the company, seeking to understand the digital
marketing strategies employed and their impact on information entrepreneurship. The
findings indicate that digital marketing plays a central role in consolidating the initiative,
contributing to increased brand visibility, stronger relationships with the target audience,
and business sustainability.

Abstract: This study aimed to analyze the role of the University Library in the teaching–learning
process of students enrolled in the Library Science program at the UFC. The
methodological approach included a bibliographic study using databases such as
Pergamum UFC, BRAPCI, Google Scholar, and scientific journals. In addition, this
research is characterized as descriptive and exploratory and also as a case study, since it
established as its target audience the Library Science students themselves, assessing
their use of the resources and services available and their perceptions of the University
Library’s contribution to their academic training. Data collection was conducted through an
electronic form, which was sent to students via Google Forms. The results indicate that,
although the University Library plays its role in supporting the teaching–learning process, it
still has shortcomings that require improvement, particularly with regard to building a
broader and more diverse collection and offering training and courses that foster personal
and professional development. Furthermore, it is essential to develop strategies to
strengthen the interaction between the University Library and students, enabling the
creation of theoretical and practical experiences that contribute to their education. It is
concluded that the University Library should pursue improvements to enhance its
resources and services and to promote the teaching–learning process so that its presence
becomes more noticeable and it can better engage Library Science students.

Abstract: This final paper aims to analyze the impacts of the General Personal Data Protection Law
(LGPD) on document management carried out in public mental health institutions, focusing
on procedures aimed at protecting sensitive data and the possible actions of the librarian in
this context. Therefore, the methodology used for this research was qualitative and
exploratory, as it was based on a bibliographic and documentary survey on the informational
practices that influence the way data is treated in the health area, the aspects of the LGPD and
the difficulties in its implementation in health environments, the conformity of document
management with current legislation and the role of the librarian in this scenario, as well as an
analysis of the LGPD itself in order to understand its content. The results demonstrate
challenges resulting from the scarcity of specific technical resources, the need for professional
qualifications, and the complexity of processing sensitive data. At the same time, they
highlight the diverse roles of librarians in managing personal data, based on their
competencies, and conclude that the implementation of the LGPD makes it feasible to
strengthen document protection in these settings. Despite its limited practical scope,
information professionals become strategic players in ensuring compliance with data subjects'
rights.

Abstract: Documentary Languages (DLS), controlled vocabularies, or thesauri emerged with the
great scientific and technological evolution of the 19th century, and their terminologies
arose rapidly, demanding closer attention to this subject. Peter Mark Roget was the first to
publish the first thesaurus in 1852. From then on, others gradually emerged with the
purpose of reflecting terminologies related to specialized or general domains. It is in this
sense that we present the results of research whose basic objective is to elaborate a
semantic microthesaurus on horror films, based on three main categories: elements,
characters, and subgenres. The methodology is a mixed-methods approach (quantitative
and qualitative) and exploratory in nature, based on bibliographic and documentary
research. Regarding the construction of the thesaurus, it was based on Cervantes' doctoral
thesis, "Integrated Methodological Model for Thesaurus Construction" from 2009. The
result was a multilingual and multidisciplinary microthesaurus containing 101 terms, 81 of
which are descriptors and 20 non-descriptors, organized alphabetically. In conclusion, the
elaboration of the microthesaurus focused on horror cinema proved to be a relevant process
in the representation, organization, and retrieval of information, also highlighting the
importance of library science in the representation of information in various spheres.
