    <summary type="text">Título: O problema da técnica em Habermas
Autor(es): França, Clístenes Chaves de
Abstract: The paper aims to discuss the problem of technology in Jürgen Habermas. It shows how the German&#xD;
philosopher overcomes Marcuse's criticism of technology and science as ideological manifestations of a&#xD;
historically situated social class, while linking both to the teleological rationality that is embedded in the&#xD;
development of the human species. Through the categories of work and interaction, Habermas points to&#xD;
the risks of colonization of the sphere of social interaction by instrumental rationality and argues that the&#xD;
construction of an emancipated society will only be possible if the sphere reserved for communicative&#xD;
rationality is protected against all forms of reification.

Autor(es): Szczepanik, Gilmar Evandro
Abstract: Philosophical research on technology has increasingly occupied the agenda of professional philosophers from the most diverse traditions. In order to expand the philosophical reflection on the respective theme, this text seeks to clarify the main elements associated with the nature of technology, analysing, consequently, the implications that they have on technological education. First, we tried to move away from the reductionist conception of technology as applied science and technoscience, claiming that there are good reasons to support a weak epistemic emancipation of technology in relation to science. Next, we will talk about the specificities that involve technological education associated mainly with the design process. Finally, we consider the possibility of developing an authentic and effective technological education.

    <summary type="text">Título: Tecnoimagens da educação segundo Vilém Flusser
Autor(es): Duarte, Rodrigo
Abstract: Vilém Flusser’s thoughts on technique point out to his concept of post-history, meaning a predominance of “technoimages”, as opposed to pre-history, in which conventional images rule, and to history, in which writing is the main codifying process in society. In post-history, a model of mass communication rules, in which discourses are “amphitheatrical” and act to “program” people in order to transform them into “functionaries” on behalf of “apparatuses” that work automatically, totally disregarding human needs. Techno-images play a very important role in this programming process of people and may be exemplified by every bidimensional surface like photos, movies, videos etc. According to Flusser, the way to cast off the yoke of apparatuses lies in “art as inebriation” as well as in an education model that surpasses both the “industrial” modality, overcome by the advent of informatics, and the modality of education that is itself one-sidedly based on this cybernetic model.
