Transparência e controle social: uma análise bibliométrica dos artigos publicados em eventos e periódico no período de 2011 a 2016

Abstract

From the promulgation of the Constitution of the Federative Republic of Brazil of 1988 the right of political participation to the citizens is assured. It is stated, however, that this power granted to the people is made possible only through the Transparency of state acts and facts, which grant the publicity of information of interest to society and enable the exercise of Social Control. The present research aims to analyze the characteristics and evolution of the articles on Transparency and Social Control published at the USP Congress of Controllership and Accounting, EnANPAD, Meeting of Public Administration and Governance (EnAPG), Congress of the National Association of Graduate Programs In Accounting (ANPCONT) and Public Administration Magazine (RAP) from 2011 to 2016. The research is a bibliometric study and is characterized as qualitative in nature and descriptive in terms of its objectives. According to the results, it was observed that the studies on the themes are still incipient and with more publications in 2016 (32.73%). It was also highlighted the EnANPAD as the event that adds the largest number of studies (52.73%), in which the Southeast region appears first with number of publications (43.33%). The research is limited to the events and period analyzed, so to fill in the gaps we suggest studies using other bibliometric parameters, different publication vehicles and different time spaces.
