| Resumo: | No presente trabalho, buscamos analisar as imagens discursivas do negro presente em dez canções de Gilberto Gil (nas décadas de 70 e 80), no posicionamento da MPB e na trajetória do Movimento Negro Brasileiro. A opção pelo estudo das canções de Gil surgiu dada a relevância que o cantor e compositor tem para a música popular brasileira, tanto em virtude da qualidade estética de sua obra, na qual reservou lugar de destaque para falar do povo negro, quanto no que se refere à sua militância política, na qual como artista negro e ex-ministro da Cultura sempre trouxe à baila questões relacionadas à posição do negro em nosso país. Para tanto, como critério para a delimitação do corpus partimos de um recorte de cunho temporal – décadas de 1970 e 1980 – e da temática – o negro – assim, foram selecionadas 10 canções para análise, quase todas de autoria do próprio Gilberto Gil. Selecionado o corpus, partimos para a escuta atenta das canções de Gilberto Gil, bem como para a leitura de suas letras, nas quais buscamos analisar a cenografia, o ethos e o código linguístico. Em nossa pesquisa temos como principal referencial teórico a Análise do Discurso de linha francesa, especificamente os estudos do pesquisador francês Dominique Maingueneau que nos trazem as categorias de ethos e de cenas da enunciação, estando nesta última incluída a cenografia, importante categoria em nosso trabalho e a categoria de código linguístico, além dos trabalhos de Maingueneau (1997, 2008a, 2008b, 2012, 2013), também utilizamos como referencial teórico os estudos desenvolvidos por Costa (2001, 2005 e 2012) sobre o discurso literomusical brasileiro, pois percebemos que tal relação se evidencia, principalmente, a partir do estudo da composição do ethos discursivo, da cenografia e do código de linguagem presente nas canções de Gil que falam sobre o negro, bem como nas relações que essas estabelecem com a ascensão do movimento negro no país. Para, além disso, visualizamos também que as relações do discurso literomusical com o discurso da negritude expressas nas canções fortalecem o posicionamento de Gilberto Gil no que tange o discurso literomusical brasileiro. |
| Abstract: | In the present work, we seeked to analyze the discursive images of the black that are present in ten songs by Gilberto Gil (on the decades of 70 and 80), the positioning of the MPB and the trajectory of the Brazilian Black Movement. The option for the study of the songs by Gil emerged from the relevancy that the singer and compositor has to the brazilian popular music, as much as in virtue of the aesthetic quality of his work, in which he reserved an important place to talk about black people; as much as his political militance, in which, as a black artist and the ex minister of culture, always brought up the position of the black in our country. For this purpose, as the criterion to the delimitation of the corpus, we started from a cut of a temporary nature – decades of 1970 and 1980 – and the thematic – the black. Therefore, 10 songs were selected to the analysis, almost all of them of authorship of Gilberto Gil himself. Selected the corpus, we made a careful listening of the songs by Gilbert Gil, as well as a reading of its lyrics, in which we seeked to analyze the cenography, the ethos and the linguistic code. In our research, we had as the main theoretical framework the french line of Discourse Analysis, specifically the studies of the french researcher Dominique Mainguineau, who presents us the categories of ethos and enunciation scenes, in the latter the cenography being included, an important category of our work, as well as the category of linguistic code. Besides the works of Dominique Maingueneau (1997, 2008a, 2008b, 2012, 2013), we also used as theoretical framework the studies developed by Nelson Costa (2001, 2005 and 2012) about the brazilian literary-musical discourse. We noticed that this relation reveals itself, mainly, from the study of the composition of the discursive ethos, the cenography and the language code that are present in the songs by Gil that talk about the black, as well as in the relations that these songs establish with the rise of the black movement in the country. In addition, we saw that the relations of the literary-musical discourse with the discourse of blackness expressed in the songs strenghten the positioning of Gilberto Gil in regards to the brazilian literary-musical discourse. |
