O diálogo entre teoria e prática no PROEJA, no Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Pará

Abstract

The article has as object of study the relationship between theory and practice in learning in the circuit of PROEJA, in the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Pará (IFPA).The theoretical discussion will focus on the contributions legal-normative and theoretical foundations of Young and Adults Education, dialoguing with Paulo Freire's Theory of Dialogue, epistemological purpose of this study. As to the methodological foundations of the field investigation, they will be worked from the dialogue between theory and practice, its challenges, contradictions and possibilities of learning significant in the universe of the subjects of PROEjA in differentiated 'space' and 'time'. Finally it will be presented the findings of the field research, and possible approaches to a liberating education, as for example, where the teacher does the mediation of activities and knowledge and the students create the processes with autonomy to get or not new knowledge and dominion in scientific-technological knowledge, aiming a social political emancipation.
