Abstract: Collaborative interprofessional practice in health is an innovative strategy for overcoming the global crisis in health services. Through this practice it is possible for the health workforce to be better prepared to deal with the health demands of the population. Professional practice based on competencies has been pointed out by various studies as being able to contribute to increasing the quality of health care. This study aimed to analyze the development of
interprofessional collaborative practices in the light of competencies, in the Family Health and NASF-AB teams in the municipality of Sobral, CE. It was decided to carry out a qualitative, exploratory and descriptive study. Two groups of professionals from family health teams in the municipality of Sobral-CE took part in the research. Data was collected using the Focus Group
technique and the construction of the Action Map. The data was analyzed using the thematic analysis technique and in the light of the theoretical framework of the principles, domains and competences of the Canadian Interprofessional Health Collaborative (CIHC). The actions identified as the main activities carried out in a shared manner with other professional categories were: home visits and team meetings. The results showed that the following collaborative
competencies were present in the work process analyzed: interprofessional communication, teamwork and patient-, family- and community-centered care. Among the challenges identified for advancing the development of collaborative competencies, the professionals pointed to the changes resulting from Previne Brasil, which reduced incentives for interprofessional actions,
team meetings, reduced financial resources, as well as prioritizing clinical-assistance actions to the detriment of actions aimed at comprehensive care. The study found the development of actions based on the collaborative competencies postulated by the CIHC, which are close to the concept of interprofessional work and the implementation of its practice in the scenario
investigated.

Abstract: Socio-emotional skills are present in human life, shaped by individual factors, comprising the
ability to manage knowledge, skills, emotions and attitudes appropriate to the situations
experienced. While anxiety can be a natural manifestation, as a way for the individual to adapt
to situations and be alert to dangers, it can be pathological, resulting in suffering and relevant
functional impairments. Given this context, the present study analyzed the level of development
of socio-emotional skills and their relationship with social anxiety in nursing students. This is
a study with a quantitative, cross-sectional and descriptive approach. The study setting was a
nursing course in the interior of Ceará, regularly enrolled students from all periods participated,
with a sample of 199 participants. Data collection took place between April and June 2023. The
following exclusion criteria were adopted: students who inadequately filled out the instrument
or left questions blank. The data were processed using the software: SPSS, version 23.0.
descriptive and statistical analyzes were carried out to characterize the sociodemographic
profile, Socio-emotional Skills and Social Anxiety of the sample, inferential analyzes were also
carried out between the study variables. The study is approved by the CEP with CAAE:
39140220.9.0000.5053. The results showed that participants have low averages in the factors
of emotional self-management and perseverance and better averages in responsible decision-
making and relationship skills. The CASO scale scores point to the likelihood of developing
social anxiety, with females having higher rates of social anxiety compared to males. Of the 6
CSE factors, 4 had negative correlations with social anxiety dimensions. Considering the results
found, it is necessary to address the weaknesses of the emotional self-management and
perseverance factor, as these were the ones that presented the lowest rates. This scenario also
reveals the need for measures to prevent the development of social anxiety, considering the
possible damage it can cause to the well-being and educational path of these students.
Therefore, it is important to develop strategies that consider maintaining students' mental
health, preventing situations of suffering and promoting socio-emotional skills. The literature
points out that the development of socio-emotional skills proves to be an effective strategy for
coping with and preventing students' mental illness, with benefits that go beyond the physical
limits of the university, in addition to playing a relevant role in promoting and directing political
pedagogical projects that include in addition to technical-scientific knowledge, humanistic and
holistic knowledge to meet the health demands of the population. Therefore, it is necessary to
train skills on an ongoing basis and jointly monitor the profile of students and course teachers
to direct and shape the strategies outlined. It is suggested to include methodologies that allow qualified listening to the student, psychological support when necessary and planning of
strategies that provide support to overcome difficulties during the training journey.

Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic caused several impacts, mainly in the social, economic and
health areas. In health, to face the pandemic, health professionals were involved to
work in existing health services and in those in the field, built and/or improvised
specifically to care for Covid-19 patients. In this way, health professionals, seen as the
front line, were essential in assisting and caring for the population, however difficulties
and adaptation needs arose in the face of the emerging situation. Thus, the objective
of this study is to know the experiences of co-existence of nursing professionals on the
front lines of COVID-19, through their perceptions and the use of photography. This is
a qualitative research, which is part of a larger study, whose title is: Narratives and
portraits of the front line: nursing and Covid 19. It was carried out in the municipalities
of Ceará that form the Decentralized Health Area (ADS) of Sobral. The inclusion criteria
were: professional nurses who worked on the front lines of the covid-19 pandemic, in
the period from 2020 to 2021, comprising the municipalities of the ADS of Sobral, and
the exclusion criteria were: professional nurses active in the pandemic, in actions
strictly administrative, without direct contact with people suspected or diagnosed with
Covid-19, or who did not understand the municipalities of the study. For this study, a
questionnaire was applied and the participant was also instructed to portray through
co-existence on the front line through a photograph. The speeches were analyzed
using the Iramuteq qualitative data analysis software. This research respected the
bioethical principles described in Resolution No. 466/12 of the National Health Council
and was approved by the Research Ethics Committee (CEP) under opinion no.
4.211.833. In the context of the performance of activities by professional nurses in the
face of the COVID-19 pandemic, most participants announced in their speeches how
challenging it was. From another perspective, even in the face of the exhausting and
challenging routine, the feeling of gratitude for playing the role of nurse also prevailed.
The challenges in facing the COVID-19 pandemic were diverse, including the scarcity
of information regarding the virus, the amount of material resources, work overload
and the fear of contagion and of bringing the virus to their family members. Covid-19
frontline professionals experienced the greatest impact on their mental health, working
during the pandemic proved to be a risk factor for symptoms of anxiety, depression,
insomnia, anguish and fear. In the face of all the difficulties, there was still a weakness in offering emotional support to professionals. In this context, the greatest support
came from the team and family, but spirituality was also present. It is concluded that,
in addition to the scientific contribution, the results bring contributions in the historical
context, as it allows us to observe photographs that refer to the COVID-19 pandemic
period.

Abstract: The scenario of child poor nutrition, established by the nutritional transition in recent
decades, with emphasis on overweight and obesity – possibly worsened by the
COVID-19 pandemic – emerges as a major public health problem. This research aims
to assess the nutritional status of preschoolers in the public educational system in
Sobral, CE, and their relationship with food consumption in light of obesity associated
factors. This is a quantitative, cross-sectional research, nested within a cluster-
randomized clinical trial, carried out with 167 preschoolers and their respective
guardians, from December 2022 to March 2023. To characterize nutritional status, the
anthropometric technique was applied to generate the indicators of W/A, H/A, BMI/Age
and waist circumference. Food consumption markers were used to define the
association between food consumption and the use of electronic devices during meals.
To map out the risk scenario regarding food security, the analysis was based on a
screening survey form for food insecurity risks. The children mostly presented a
nutritional status of eutrophy (55.69%), with the presence overweight risk (19.19%),
overweight (9.58%), obesity (11.37%) and poor nutrition (4.19%). However, there is a
higher prevalence of overweight and obesity in male children. Furthermore, 1.8% of
children are very short for their age; 1.2% were moderately short for their age and
97.01% had adequate height for their age. Regarding the assessment of waist
circumference, results indicate that 38.32% of children between 2-5 years old
presented high values for this indicator, with greater emphasis on males (23.95%) with
a p value < 0.05. As for food consumption, there was a considerable consumption of
protein groups, fresh fruits, legumes, dairy, sandwich biscuits, candies, and soft drinks.
However, it is worth noting that the group of instant noodles, snacks and chips,
greens/vegetables, hamburgers and/or sausages, presented low consumption
between children when compared to the other groups. With regard to the use of
screens during meals, it was possible to identify that 67.65% of children used electronic devices while eating. In relation to the analysis of food and nutritional safety, it was
possible to identify the presence of food and nutritional danger in over 40% of the
surveyed children. It is noteworthy that height and weight had a direct correlation with
nutritional status (r= 0.612 and p<001), and this analysis is replicated when evaluating
the relationship between BMI and weight (r= 0.612 and p<001). The relationship
between WC and weight indicates that the greater the child's weight, the higher the
WC (r= 0.491 and p<001). Overweight and obesity can be observed in children under
five years of age, with high rates of consumption of healthy food, and ultra-processed
food as well. Simultaneously, children were in the habit of having their meals
associated with digital technologies. Furthermore, food and nutritional danger was
observed in the analyzed sample.
